Historia
Your organization's culture is the key to its success. Strategic planning is essential. People's competencies should be measured and their weaknesses shored up. People crave feedback. These may sound like basic truths of our work lives today. But actually, they're lies. As Marcus Buckingham and Ashley Goodall show in this provocative, inspiring book, there are some big lies - distortions, faulty assumptions, wrong thinking - running through our organizational lives.

To read more than once
Revisado: 02-20-21
All the histories and facts about these nine lies make sense. Definitely all is about humanity, humbleness. It is clear that we need to reflect about all these lies, reflexión will give us the right answer to everyone, reflexión about what lie has been a truth in different moments and for different reason, and with that we understand if it was a real lie.
I like a lot this reading because it makes me reflect on all the topics and it makes me take in account that maybe I did some things in a Erin way but I just need to experience that wrong way to appreciate and understand the lessons in the reading.

Historia
Science confirms the distinction between the biological brain and the conscious mind. Each day, a game of mind versus matter plays out on a field defined by the problems we must solve. Most are routine, and don't demand a more mindful approach. It's when we're faced with more difficult challenges that our thinking becomes vulnerable to brain patterns that can lead us astray.

Something is missing!
Revisado: 05-14-18
Concepts are very clear and were explained in an easy way but it is necessary to include more ways to fix the 7 flaws.
By other hand it is very important try to conect these learnings with a kind of assesment to know what is our own grade of flawlessness.
