The Bible is the Bible the narrator makes it easy to listen
Revisado: 04-23-23
The narrators voice is easy to listen to and as I followed with my NKJV Bible she reads it true. I am happy with my purchase. It makes going through my Bible once a year a lot easier as I trip over words when I read.

Historia
Meet Laurie Suzanne Scott. She is both an evangelical Christian and transgender. Raised in a devoutly Christian home, she endured the unbelievably difficult and complicated odyssey of finding her identity as a woman...without losing her identity in Christ. A journey she barely survived. In God Doesn't Make Mistakes: Confessions of a Transgender Christian, Laurie tells her story of growing up playing a role as unnatural to her as the body with which she was born.

What a brave and reaffirming book of faith and perseverance
Revisado: 11-08-22
I loved this book. The author is extremely brave to have shared her story. I love how her faith sees her through it all and how her words carry the truth of what it is to be a true Christian. So many of us get so caught in the trappings of this world that we forget or do not even read our Bible for ourselves. God loves all of his children. He knew us before we were in our mothers womb. So to say that he will not love this one or that one is a lie. To call this one a sinner and that one a saint is a lie to. Only God can judge us and many Christian’s would be smart to remember that. In the end we will all have to go before him and answer for our sins. We as Christian’s are called to bring people to Christ not push them away. I myself have failed in my Christianity many times, but I get back on that horse and keep trying, growing and learning with each fall. I hope that those reading this review will think to read this book and have an open heart for all people and that God will speak to you and open your eyes to his unfailing love.
