Historia
Raised in the closed cult of Mana's Hearth and denied access to modern technology, conjoined sisters Taema and Tila dream of a life beyond the walls of the compound. When the heart they share begins to fail, the twins escape to San Francisco, where they are surgically separated and given new artificial hearts. From then on they pursue lives beyond anything they could have previously imagined.

I get why SOME people could like it
Revisado: 03-09-22
But I didn’t like it. The story at the beginning sounds exciting, interesting, poetic and mysterious. But the main character just keep whining and crying because of the things she has to do for her sister. The romance is predictable. The big reveal is bland. What really happened? Exactly what you thought but most likely more boring. I just couldn’t wait for the Tila chapters because the Taima chapters were unbearable. Also not enough characters. And we barely hear about the main villain, could have used more of that. Some aspects were interesting though and the sci-fi world kind of dystopia the author created is marvelous! I was more immersed in the concept of skin parlors than in Taima sleeping with the male lead. The universe was amazing, it’s just such a shame it was wasted in Taima and Tila’s story. Overall, 75% waste of my time.
