Story holds your attention, narration dreadful
Revisado: 08-27-18
The story is good, but the narration from Dennis Quaid is awful to the point of distraction. He reads every part like a smoker on their last breath or an old man. This includes 25 year old males and even some young women. Every accent is interpreted as that of an ancient person. This book would be better read than listened to.

Mediocre with very poor reader
Revisado: 10-19-16
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No - not much of a plot. I like anything about Paris, but this was surprisingly uninteresting.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Narrator has boring affect and terrible mispronunciation. I thought it was just his French, but his English is not very good either. He mispronounces words that anyone, especially a book reader, should be able to pronounce.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
no
