There are no gods to guide her, and some would even laugh in her face. But the pain, the hardships, and the challenges only give her strength. Oh no!
Revisado: 03-21-25
Well there it is, LGBTQ starting in chaper 48, it never fails anymore, like somehow it is a requirement in modern Science Fiction writing to start putting it in the story line.
Or, maybe I'm not an adult, and start putting my hands over my ears. But come off it, is it really necessary?
I read Science fiction as like a board game of moving pieces using advanced concepts and technology. Reading this is like a board game covered in something sticky or slimy.
Yuck...
if I wanted to read about the interaction of lips and tongues, and anything else I would read shut with abandon.
Was or is it really necessary for the story line? Rule of thumb is that if it is not, then don't put it in.
Young minds may get ahold of this and very off in a direction that is not wholesome.
if that is the point, then shame.
I'm 66...yes, older than most of you probably, and this is not fun, it's manipulative.
A writer should never do that unless there is a forward warning, and this storyline has none.
So I am very disapointed...
And know this, you don't know better than me...

Escaping from an angry drone graveyard with the help and sacrifice of one of her own kind, Alex finds herself in a fringe system populated by mankind, a species that would fear and hate her if they knew the truth. Still, she cant wait to see the new sights and make more friends! She just has to be a little subtle about it... And maybe trade in some anti-matter nuclear warheads.

Waking up adrift in an ancient battleground, Alex is left dazed and confused with no clue how she ended up trapped aboard a failing vessel. With only a mysterious voice in her head to guide her she must act in order to survive. Every piece of the puzzle she collects only leads to more questions about her origins and the star she's trapped around might not be as deserted as she first thought. Where...just where do I begin....
This...this is just soo good! I do mean...Fantastic!
This is a special prepared meal, with all the courses and napkins provided.
All Silverware, and not plastic ware or sporks. Sharp and handles not overly large and fit both hands quite nicely.
This is a very good read...er, listen.
I highly recommend the time on this!
By all means enjoy!

Historia
Something always goes sideways, but this is bigger than expected. Maybe it's not an entirely bad thing, though, as mana-infected animals spreading over the world would definitely make everyone more open to the idea of the apocalypse. The question is what was Silas supposed to do about it, though. He still couldn't tell anyone who wasn't inducted about the system. It was time to get creative. If that wasn't enough, though, he still had the wild hunt hanging over his head. Seven days to go, and then he'd be thrown into whatever twisted event the system had cooked up for him.

Silas is inducted into the System, becoming the last in a long line of Earth's "forerunners." The rewards are great, but the danger is greater. We are not alone in the universe. The fate of five worlds hangs on how their forerunners perform. Will Silas have what it takes to win Earth a place in the multiverse? Or will Earth become another mining world stripped of all resources and left a barren husk floating in the cosmos?

Buckle and swash, but the pants don't drop, thankfully. Family friendly.
Revisado: 09-03-24
As the first book in this series, it is generally expected to be to introduce the character's and their abilities, what talents they have or recieve, and the world or period they are in. This does not fail. Neither does the action or interaction. listening to the stats can be drag, but these areas can be skipped to get back to the action.
the story plot is good and does not fail to entertain. Some areas could be expanded and does feel as if they are skipped like a record player missing some details. These details can be just as important as stats, the author needs to be careful about this.
good read, and looking for the next iteration.

Historia
Jake is working at the neighborhood market under his apartment when the world ends. He expected nuclear war, a computer virus, or even climate change burning everyone to a crisp to bring about the downfall of civilization. But cruel and arbitrary gods from another world? Who would have guessed that? When these cruel gods shuffled Earth like a deck of cards, nothing was in the same place anymore. Monsters, dungeons, and magical items appear scattered across the globe. And suddenly, everyone has access to a new, strange magical card system that gives them magical powers.

The theme of overcoming odds snd obstacles.
Revisado: 05-27-24
I enjoyed this story very much. The artwork accompanying this title looks like a gentle themed youth work of fiction, but it is not in many ways. The use of language is very expressive and adult at times, but not used excessively. Life and death are both dark and enlightening and sometimes depressing.
However, it's a good read and or listen, and the moderator does it justice. There are time and passages are slow and methodical, but there is a point to it all. I hope to enjoy the next iteration of this series.

Now the Stargazer is a lost shipwreck, and the race is on to find it, and who should show up looking for it but Nyx's dangerous family: Big Mama, Jim, and Kratt. Nyx and Zero will face kidnappers, pirates, shipwrecks, warlords, dragons, and maybe a new ally or two on their way to save the day once again.

Gripping storyline.
Revisado: 04-27-24
This series of stories was quite compelling and well told. Reminds me of old time radio broadcasts with a list of characters and sound effects. it makes all the diffetence in story telling and was masterfully done.
Well worth checking into for the young and old alike. Download and pack it in for your next trip or sleep over.
All this needs is good snacks and beverages with this listen.
