I love the way the narrators worked together. It was fantastic.

This story line was great. Wonderful twists and I loved that it wasn’t so drawn out. The FMC was strong and didn’t waver on weak for too long not a lot of self doubt and torment to get you to the same wonderful place. And the spicy sections didn’t come across like every other books spice. Great job!

The book was good because I was able to hang on and listen to it all the way through. However this navigator is not my favorite. Every character sounds like a nasally whiner, and that is the only difference between them.

I have loved every one of Angela peppers books. I thought this would be a great next read while waiting for the next wisteria book come out.
The first story. Started out great! Then turned in to drugs and sex that hit you hard and fast. It had potential to be a great story, long-term. However, just as it seemed to start into a story line it ended. The short story was all about a sex driven college student that needed to get her fix. One that happened the story was over.
The next book I couldn’t get through. Angela has been a great job at picking out her narrators. This book I couldn’t even finish. It’s about a teen that has a magical power that starts out in their bellybutton to see the future. The narrator is an older gentleman that just sounded pervy narrated in the story.
So, I stopped listening to the books. it just seem to be a bad line for me.
So book one was a “tap that” and leading into the second book just felt inappropriate. Do not get me wrong. The narrator for the second book has a wonderful narration. I just think that the age of bracket of character should’ve been someone younger or a younger voice needed to be used.
An older man’s voice acting like a teen while letting girls putting their fingers in his bellybutton just seemed unsettling. I couldn’t clear that image.

Sorry Angela I still love your other books. I just couldn’t get past the icky feeling.

These book- just a great read. I listened to Air Awakens too and love it.
The vortex books however were so much harder to follow along. One review said it was a robotic narrator, I agree. This narrator should have listened to the first books and listen to the voices. A few of the voices started out with a middle eastern flare then went to an Irish/English dialect. Then a southern twang person. Lord. I can’t tell if it’s the constant change accent or how she butchered each sentence to make it sound like she was talking to a child but it almost lost me.
Great read just prepare yourself for the narrator.

I loved these book. If I can’t get into it in the first few pages I’m turned off. Well, that happened to me three times with this book. As I looked at it in my library I thought, let’s give it one more time - hate wasting credits.
Now, for the life of me I can’t remember what I kept getting hung up with! I read these books all at once. After I read the last one I had a pang of disappointment - for two reason. 1. There wasn’t another yet and I had to wait! Grr 2. I felt cheated by the order. So, I read them again in a different order. 1,4,2,3 - switching out the end or each book to its appropriate placement. I loved the flow with this order. It was not chopped up and gave a much better story- personally. Try it.
I liked the story line. Also, it was not repetitive. The writer didn’t waste my time bringing me up to speed with each new book. I hate that! Read the series.
One thing that did get me was the consistency on ending. I think there could have been a little more creativity on on the placement of the endings. I felt like I New when the ending was without looking because of how it always wrapped up. The writing is good and it’s more than enough to get you to read the next. Change it up on the ending points. Leave us hanging just a bit more! I hate when that happen but I am left talking about it and needing the next dose. If anyone can say that dam cliffhanger ending makes me made. It’s because they wanted more and can’t wait.
