What can I say about this book that I haven’t said about all of the others. I have been a fan of Marie Force since the beginning. I’ve read all of her books and with every one they just get better. I love all of the series in their own way, but with the Gansett series in particular I always feel like I’m going home. Blackout After Dark was special in many ways. We got to get a glimpse of all our favorites and we got to be introduced to some new characters that I’m sure will become just like family in books to come. Marie has a way of pulling you in and immersing you into the story and then of course there is the holy $&@! moment that she throws in ever so effortlessly to give us the wtf pause that we’ve come to know and love. I look forward to many more Gansett books and can’t wait to go home again.

Every ending is a new beginning

I love author Marie Force and every series she writes but I have to say the Fatal Series holds a special place in my heart. This books like all that have come before it was well written and kept me engaged and oh boy that ending. The author said she wanted that moment from her readers and she sure got it from me. Eva Kaminsky did a stellar job as always. I’m am looking forward to the future of this couple and everything to come for them and all the beloved characters that I have come to know and love. Well done, Marie Force. Well done.

A five star read from a five star author!!

Rouge Wave is the story of Keith and Sam. When the books starts out there could not be two people less suited to be in a relationship. Keith is a slacker and Sam is studious. Each has difficulties at home but for very different reasons. Somehow not only do they become friends but also end up falling in love. Then it happens. A tragedy occurs and it tears them apart. Rouge Wave is a book about coming together and breaking apart. It is about finding and losing your soulmate and maybe if the stars align finding them again. Rouge Wave is a part of the Cake Series and while those characters are present, this is very much Keith and Sam’s story. The author does a masterful job of combining the past and the present to give you a full picture of why these characters are the way they are and why they do the things they do. I love the Cake Series as a whole and each individual title stands on its own to make the series better. The story is touching and gut-wrenching. It is magical and tumultuous. It is...life. The narrators do a fantastic job bringing these characters and this story to life. If you haven’t read or listened to the other books in this series you are missing out. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us in the future!!

I haven’t made a secret of the fact that Marie Force is a one-click Author for me. If she’s written it I’ve read it. I have to be honest, Fatal was my hold off Series. It was the last one I chose to start and what a disservice I did myself by waiting. The Fatal Series has everything a reader could possibly want or need in a book. Every new release is her best one yet and I say she can’t do better but unsurprisingly she does. If for some reason you haven’t started this series do it now!! While you’re at it read the rest of them too. You won’t be sorry.

I love Carrie Ann Ryan and all of her books!!
I loved Restless Ink and the story!!
I love Joe Arden and his narration!!
Carrie Ann could write a phone book and I’d read it and if it was narrated by Joe Arden, all the better.

Feel good read!!

I’ll just start by saying I love the Fatal Series, every last one of them. If I’m looking for a feel good read I will always turn to Fatal Destiny. Having Sam and her Senator Nick get their Happily Ever After wedding is such a treat. There are of course a few bumps along the way. It wouldn’t be a Fatal book without some obstacles thrown in for Nick and his Lieutenant to overcome. This is a re-listen many times over!!

Life really is for the living

It is no secret that I’m a Carrie Ann Ryan fan. I own every book she’s written. I was especially touched by Murphy and Tessa’s story. This truly is a story about overcoming the past and the residual fear that remains so that you can embrace the present and the future. These characters each have their strengths and weaknesses, as all human beings do. Carrie Ann brings a realistic view of what is like to have to face a foe that you thought you had already beaten. I would recommend this book as well as any of her others.

First let me say I love the cover of this book and I loved what was behind the cover too. Carrie Ann Ryan is a go to author for me and if she writes it I will read it or listen to it as the case may be. This book has it all. Adrienne and Mace are trying to navigate a new business that someone doesn’t want to stay open and trying to figure out how to turn their close friendship into that of one of lovers and more. It the midst of all that angst we have Mace becoming a full time father to sweet Daisy. There are so many layers to their story and we also get introduced to characters that we will meet in the following books of this series. On top of all wonderful that is their story we are treated to the yummy deliciousness that is narrator Joe Arden. Does it get any better than this? I guess we’ll find out. If you have not listened to this audiobook do yourself a favor and buy it now. You won’t regret it.

Wonderful story, horrible editing.

I love this Author and this series but, this edition was awful. There are many mistakes and numerous repeated words and phrases. I don't know what the editing process is but, it needs to be redone. I don't mind the narrator but the narration needs work.
