This is why I love Shaw Montgomery and Kenneth Obi working together. Shaw's stories always capture my heart and these were no exception. When you add Kennth's voice the characters come alive so much more for me. While I loved all these guys, Bryce, Brent, and Carter hold special places in my heart.

I love listening to audio books after I have read the book. Because I already love the characters, they become so much more real to me. When you have a very talented narrator it's even better. Kenneth Obi perfectly matched the voice to the person. I have family from all over New England so it was a please to hear. Though I have to say, Nora Phoenix showed remarkable restraints because, at least in my family, I expected a whole lot more F bombs. I still get shocked by one aunt lol. Seriously, a beautiful story told in a voice that makes feeling the emotions so much deeper.

I love how this story unfolds. It gives you a look at the world created as you get to know the characters. Still think Liam needs a little work but I can see if he gets it right, this being a good fit for both. Maybe a little help is in order.😉

True perfection!!

Having already read the book, I knew I would enjoy this. It was even better than I expected. Kenneth Obi did a fantastic job narrating. I strongly suggest using him again. The way he did Nathan’s “filter” comments was perfect and had me laughing so hard. They were funny to read but hearing them was priceless. There were so many ways he enriched the audio experience but those were my favorite.

Amazing!!!

I loved reading the book so I knew I would enjoy this. Tod Scott did a fabulous job of bringing H. J. Perry's vision to life. Conner and Lee were already sexy and hot and listening to them made them more so. I love this series so much. When I listen to a story I have already read I'm able to imagine the characters even more vividly. Plus, there are things that you might of missed or not placed as much importance on that you should have. This is one you'll want to listen to again and again.

So much to love. Liam and Blaine are great characters. I fell in love with Blaine and wanted to adopt and mother Liam. I have never been to Rio. Teodora Kostova made it seem like I was there. The respect and love she has for the country comes through not only from her descriptions but also with the characters' actions, especially Liam's. Alexander Doddy did a fabulous job. You felt the emotions and the way he was able to convey different characters and the personality in what they said was spot on. Plus the accent OMG I could listen to him all day...sigh.

I loved it so much I didn't want it to end. The book was great but hearing it with the accent added so much more. Mark Steadman's voice increased the emotions felt. With his accent it matched the location and turn of phrases used. I highly recommend giving this book a listen. I am definitely getting more of Jay Northcote's audiobooks.

So intense!!!

Wow. I had already read the book and had enjoyed it immensely, but to listen to it was a different kind of experience. The story was still a great read. Like any re-read you get more out of it the second, or third in this case, time. plus, the was Joel narrated made the emotions so much more. I look forward to listening to many more of Sloane Kennedy's books. I was given this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving a review. I have read every one of her books so I have no doubt it will be just as great an experience to listen to the others.
