Historia
While The Secret History of Twin Peaks served to analyze the mysteries of the town and place the unexplained phenomena that unfolded there into a vastly layered, wide-ranging history, Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier tells us what happened to key characters in the 25 years between the events of the first series and the second, offering details and insights fans will clamor for. The audiobook also adds context and commentary to the strange and cosmic happenings of the new series.

A satisfying coda
Revisado: 10-31-17
The Final Dossier doesn’t give all the answers, but provides strong arguments and supporting evidence for things left unanswered and unsaid in the latest season of Twin Peaks. A must for any fans.

Historia
Locked behind bars for three years, Shadow did his time, quietly waiting for the day when he could return to Eagle Point, Indiana. A man no longer scared of what tomorrow might bring, all he wanted was to be with Laura, the wife he deeply loved, and start a new life. But just days before his release, Laura and Shadow's best friend are killed in an accident. With his life in pieces and nothing to keep him tethered, Shadow accepts a job from a beguiling stranger he meets on the way home, an enigmatic man who calls himself Mr. Wednesday.

New to Neil

Decent - if just a little poorly paced
Revisado: 06-14-17
To preface, I am a fan of Neil Gaiman's work.
I think the book quite a bit. However, I felt that its pacing was a little bit off. It's extremely setup heavy, and the conclusion comes extremely suddenly, and ends without the same care that went into the setup. For the amount of world building the first two-ish acts received, the ending was somewhat anticlimactic -- for a reason, but still somewhat haphazardly handled. I think the book has a large amount of text comparative to how much actually 'happens', even more so in comparison to the agency of its characters. It is a solemn, lonely road novel that meanders much like the journey its characters undertake.
The performances were excellent, and handled the material well. Not much else to report on that aside from the great casting decisions.

Historia
In late 2010, thousands of hacktivists joined a mass digital assault by Anonymous on the websites of VISA, MasterCard, and PayPal to protest their treatment of WikiLeaks. Splinter groups then infiltrated the networks of totalitarian governments in Libya and Tunisia, and an elite team of six people calling themselves LulzSec attacked the FBI, CIA, and Sony. They were flippant and taunting, grabbed headlines, and amassed more than a quarter of a million Twitter followers.

A good overview despite some flaws
Revisado: 12-19-16
This book provides a great perspective into the inner workings of Lulzsec and other Anonymous related groups. By charting a through line, Parmy paints a compelling narrative about subterfuge and power.
There are a few mistakes, however, though most are small. A good example of this is a mention of hacker Geohotz -- Parmy credits him with hacking the PS2, but in actuality he hacked the PS3. Little things like this betray the author's authority in tech and the related material, making the reader question their understanding of the mechanical aspects of their subjects.
That being said the book is narrated excellently and is for the most part an enlightening, well researched read.

All of us are outsiders, but we do not need to be.
Revisado: 03-07-16
His book cleanly and positively demonstrates Senator Sanders' campaign ideology and political history, without overloading the reader with haughty rhetoric or empty promises. Let it be known, if you read This book, regardless of your stance on Bernie, you will walk away with a much greater understanding of what he represents, and the reason why people love him so much.
Get involved, volunteer for your primaries and caucuses, and campaign, and maybe America will have a leader like Senator Sanders.
