Historia
When hunters from around the world gather in Las Vegas for a conference, a creature left over from a World War Two weapons experiment wakes up and goes on a rampage across the desert. A not-so-friendly wager between the rival companies turns into a race to see who can bag the mysterious creature first. Only there is far more to this particular case than meets the eye, and as Hunters fall prey to their worst nightmares, Owen Zastava Pitt and the staff of Monster Hunter International have to stop an ancient god from turning Sin City into a literal hell on earth.

Historia
What does the most powerful wizard in the world do after the war? Despite the hordes of goblins still ready to ravage human lands, King Rard has signed a treaty with them, so Minalan is forbidden from taking advantage of their weak state. Most would take a well-deserved rest over the summer…but Minalan and his household are busy repaying a favor owed to the tribal Kasari for their help in the war, and the Spellmonger pays his debts. So Minalan spends his summer sneaking 2,000 Kasari children through enemy lines and some of the roughest territory in the Five Duchies toward salvation.

Every book has been better than the last
Revisado: 08-10-18
Forr me most epic fantasy books diminish in interest after 3rd or 4th book. The Spellmonger series does not. I've been reading and listening to fantasy books for over 25 years. This may be my favorite...

Better than the first book, Awesome
Revisado: 03-30-14
Fantastic! All of the characters from the first book are back, and very well developed. I mean who wouldn’t want to be a part of Bridge Four!! So glad Lopen was back- he kills me! Each main character has some flaws they try to work through- which I like. The story is incredible. I also liked the little girl that is in one of the interludes – she is “awesome” and very funny too.
The book has a wonderful mix of chivalry, social inequality, anti-slavery, class envy, warfare, and just the right bit of humor and romance.
I couldn’t ask for anything else from this book. Some events I certainly saw coming, but others were a complete surprise.
I will pre-order the next book.

Historia
For someone who’s been alive for two thousand years, Atticus O’Sullivan is a pretty fast runner. Good thing, because he’s being chased by not one but two goddesses of the hunt—Artemis and Diana—for messing with one of their own. Dodging their slings and arrows, Atticus, Granuaile, and his wolfhound, Oberon, are making a mad dash across modern-day Europe to seek help from a friend of the Tuatha Dé Danann. His usual magical option of shifting planes is blocked, so instead of playing hide-and-seek, the game plan is . . . run like hell.

Gret book - and great set-up for next one!!
Revisado: 09-22-13
Great book. Thought I'd start getting tired of the series - but Hearne kepps growing the series like a family. The next one in the series is gonna be awesome - we get to see how Oberion relates to new girlfriend - a grand father type - and the Irish are taking Atticus back into the fold. I will definately buy the next one that comes out.

The downside to faking your own death is that people tend to get upset when they find out they’ve been had. In Atticus O’Sullivan’s case, they’re upset enough to come after him to make sure he dies for real this time. Yet he can’t remain in hiding anymore: He has to bind his apprentice, Granuaile, to the earth so that she can become the first new Druid in centuries.

Normally after the 2nd or 3rd book in a series I get bored. Not so with Iron Druid. Great story with plenty of humor.

Historia
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....

HBO vs Audio book
Revisado: 10-27-12
What made the experience of listening to A Game of Thrones the most enjoyable?
It filled in the gaps that HBO left out. HBO followed book pretty close, but listening to the audiobook filled in a bit of the history and increased the depth of the characters.
Who was your favorite character and why?
tyrion lannister then jon snow. How can you not just love the dwarf?
What does Roy Dotrice bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?
Great narrator.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
HBO- bad question
Any additional comments?
2-credits is steep. I'll probably switch to the LOR series now that it is out and wait to see if song of fire and ice drops in credits.

Cutting a deal with a trickster god rarely goes well for any human brave or foolish enough to try it, but Atticus doesn’t feel like he has a choice. With members of the Norse pantheon out for his blood, he can’t train his apprentice in peace, so he asks Coyote to help him fake his own death. The cost, however, might wind up being every bit as high as if he’d made no deal at all.

Revisado: 09-08-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Great book that combines humor, thriller and fantasy. Dog lovers will have a special place for this one.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tricked?
coyote. He's not really a bad guy, kinda like a helpful neighbor who gets under your skin at times.
What about Luke Daniels???s performance did you like?
Excellent. Did notice a bit of a vocal change for Oberon this time. No biggy.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes.
Any additional comments?
great series.
