Historia
Blaze is a highly trained astral marine, fighting demons and saving lives, so he should know better than to bed his latest client. And yet, when she puts a hex on him, suddenly women find him irresistible. Even his ex-wife is eyeing him, which is a problem, because she's an evil witch. Literally. Together, Blaze and Mara form an uneasy alliance with a misfit crew of aliens and monsters to track down demons, snare ghosts, and destroy hellish creatures bent on murder - all while trying to close the gates of hell forever.

Crass, macho and extravagant.

This book was probably like nothing I've ever gone through before. Between absolutely ridiculous moments and a harem-incestuous-like arrangement, I could not place it on erotica. It has maybe two solid brief sexual scenes. The story is loopy, the characters are forced archetypes, and it gets to a point where you may be forced to pause to laugh at the sheer nonsense. In all fairness, I'm sure that this is right up someone's alley. Not mine.
As for the narrator, overall she did fine... but she tripped with Spanish dialect words placed in the story without researching how they may sound and it sounds absolutely ridiculous. She also attempted to place personalities on characters through voice, but took it much too far, making some of them sound almost funky. I could not immerse myself at all.
Overall? Okay mostly because of the generous length of the tale. You'll laugh, both at the story and at the sheer unbelievable scenes on it.
