Watching the dynamic between my mother and fathers has stripped the rose-colored glasses from me, though. I've never wanted to match. And I certainly never wanted to attend one of the glitzy galas the Council uses to woo Omegas. At least, not until an absolute nightmare of a heat a couple of months ago and the fallout of it. So now I have one night that will dictate my future. I'm determined to make the most of it.
