Historia
Food affects our body, mind, and health in many remarkable ways. And certain foods work together in ways that are almost magical. In this groundbreaking new eating plan, Dr. Michael Murray identifies foods that act together to produce a total effect or force that is greater than the sum of the individual foods - what is known as a synergetic effect. Research shows there's a tremendous synergetic effect that the healing force of nature exerts through each food and each food component. As the foods work together, they improve your energy and your physical and mental health.

I’ve really enjoyed this book. I didn’t want it to end. It was packed full of useful and practical information. What sets this book apart is its extensive reference to thousands of studies, delivering a dependable and reliable source of information. It proves to be an indispensable resource for those looking to improve their connection with food and overall health. I’ve already ordered a hard copy. It will serve as a valuable reference guide. Can’t wait to devour his other books.

This audiobook is written to be a playbook to live the life of your dreams, to remind you how to be the best version of yourself, how to live a life with fewer worries, to overdeliver on your promises to yourself, how to bring others on your journey, how to overcome irrational behavior, and to stop making the same mistakes. It’s an adventure in discovering who you really are, and what the voices in your head really mean. It’s a story of belief against the odds and resilience in the face of failure. The worst events of the 21st century came all at once.

If you only read one book this year…

Came across this book when I saw that the FBI negotiator, Chris Voss, was featured in it. It looked interesting. I thought I would listen to it along with the other 4 books I was currently listening to. I thought I would go back and forth between my other books, but once I started it, I couldn’t stop!!!
The line up of contributors in the book was INCREDIBLE. It was so engaging and they all offered something relatable and tangible. I got so many good nuggets out of every person Simon Leslie included in the book. Simon was funny and I really enjoyed his style of story telling.
When I really love a book I listened to on Audible, I will also get it in print. And I didn’t just buy one copy. I bought multiple copies to give away.
This is definitely one of those books you will read over and over again. It truly is a playbook to live the life of your dreams.

Historia
If You're In My Office, It's Already Too Late. James Sexton knows this. After dealing with over 1000 clients whose marriages have dissolved over everything from an ill-advised threesome with the nanny to the uneven division of carpool duties, he also knows all of the what- not-to-dos for couples who want to build - and consistently work to preserve - a lasting, fulfilling relationship. Described by former clients as a "courtroom gunslinger" and "the sociopath you want on your side", Sexton tells the unvarnished truth about relationships. These usually derive from dishonest communication.

This is such amazing advice for couples and for anyone who plans to be in a relationship in the future. Make sure your partner reads it as well.
I love the delivery too. I just love audio books read by the author. I was so sad when I finished it because I wanted more examples, more stories, more advice. I hope he keeps writing more books.

Historia
We’re constantly seeking answers to these fundamental human questions, and now, science has the answers. The foods we enjoy, the people we love, the emotions we feel, and the beliefs we hold can all be traced back to our DNA, germs, and environment. This witty, colloquial book is popular science at its best, describing in everyday language how genetics, epigenetics, microbiology, and psychology work together to influence our personality and actions.

Loved loved loved this book. It was very well written and funny! I couldn’t get enough! Many parts made me laugh out loud. Loved all his references to pop culture thru the years. If this guy taught biosciences to me in college I could have become a brain surgeon! such interesting information and will make for great discussions!
