Does not contain the novella

Despite the cover saying it does, it does not contain a novella anymore. Other than that, the story was fine.

Historia
Hundreds of years ago, the Selkies made a deal with the sea witch: they would have the sea for as long as she allowed it, and when the time came, she would call in all their debts at once. When the Luidaeg - October "Toby" Daye's oldest and most dangerous ally - tells her the time has come for the Selkies to fulfill their side of the bargain, and that Toby must be a part of the process, Toby can't refuse. Literally. The Selkies aren't the only ones in debt to the Luidaeg, and Toby has to pay what she owes like anyone else.

Historia
It's hard to be a hero. There's always something needing October "Toby" Daye's attention, and her own desires tend to fall by the wayside in favor of solving the Kingdom's problems. That includes the desire to marry her long-time suitor and current fiancé, Tybalt, San Francisco's King of Cats. She doesn't mean to keep delaying the wedding; it just sort of...happens. And that's why her closest friends have taken the choice out of her hands, ambushing her with a court wedding at the High Court in Toronto.

Perfect ending.
Revisado: 06-08-23
I’m terrible at taking the time to leave reviews, but had to for this. This was an absolute perfect and fitting end to the series. Everything that felt undone from the last book came full circle here. It still had all the fantastic flavor of the characters, but gave Raven and Christian such a satisfying ending. Bravo.

Historia
Everyone in the small town of Denton is searching for Isabelle Coleman, a missing 17-year-old girl. All they've found so far is her phone and another girl they didn't even know was missing. Mute and completely unresponsive to the world around her, it's clear this mysterious girl has been damaged beyond repair. All Detective Josie Quinn can get from her is a name: Ramona. Currently suspended from the force for misconduct, Josie takes matters into her own hands as the name leads her to evidence linking the two girls.

Get A New Narrator
Revisado: 01-15-21
You know, this was a fairly well written story. Could have been shortened up in places. The story line was fairly innovative, some what creative, and presented in a fairly well thought out introduction of characters.
But your narrator ruined it - totally, and inexplicably. She presented the heroine as snotty, stuck up, trite, thoughtless, obnoxious, and obtrusive. It’s hard to imagine how anyone could care about this woman, let alone love her. The snotty way she was presented, would not draw many, to her as fetching, or worth learning more about her.
My daughter, who also has a journalism degree, as do I, couldn’t finish listening to it. She couldn’t stand the narrator and began to hate the main character.
I listened to this book, knowing that my daughter couldn’t stand it. The only way I was able to get through it, was to present the main character in an alternate personality, to myself, so I wouldn’t abandon it along the way.
Your narrator can’t even speak the King’s English. Her pronunciation of probably 25 to 30% of America’s language was outstandingly obnoxious; she couldn’t even pronounce the simple word “taco” correctly.
Has anyone in your publishing firm listened to this narration ? I might be interested in listening to successive stories in this series, if you can assure me that someone can narrate it, give the main character some soulful character, and speak English. What a waste of your money in paying this lady, and potentially ruining the future of this series.
