Bamboo fly rods have delighted me since my aunt gave me one when I was eight.

John answered most all of my questions about vintage Bamboo. He gave a good lesson in how to tell an interesting story as well. I can’t tell you which of the lessons I’ve taken from John’s book is more valuable. I have a better knowledge of the care and maintenance of a bamboo fly rod. I feel better equipped to make an intelligent selection of an old, second hand bamboo fishing rod. So all in all, I feel smarter than I was before reading John’s book. If this review sounds half way interesting, then I have to give John credit for having improved my ability to tell an interesting story. After all a good review is nothing, if not a good story. If you’re still reading at this point, then John must have taught me something about writing a good story. Thank you John, this was a book worthy of the time it took to listen to it.

Dr. Gundry is a marvelous teacher!

Mitochondrial uncoupling, I never dreamed I would be listening to a 6 hour lecture on Mitochondrial uncoupling. However Dr. Gundry makes the subject understandable, even fascinating. I am learning how to cook and eat new foods at 70. Goat cheese is my new favorite food, along with Artichoke’s, Radiccio, Asparagus, Brussel Sprouts, and A2 milk products. I just bought a Kitchenaid pro 5 plus mixer just so I can make my own butter from A2 whipping cream. Leeks, onion, mushrooms, I’m trying it all.

Marvelous book, best I’ve red on the subject of YouTube.

This book inspired me to start a Vlog about my passions for Jeeps Wranglers and Literature.
i just completed my B-Roll for for my first YouTube Channel product review. Can’t wait to I finished the book this weekend and began learning Video Editing software KineMaster and Started shooting footage and edited until 2:00am. I was really pumped to begin developing my Brand.

Reader was hard to understand at times. But the story was wonderful. Perhaps if a man had read the book it would have work to the stories advantage.

Fascinating, An education on spying

A global view of our countries history and involvement in the clandestine world of Spy's and their craft. Jack Devine can tell a story well. Jack is the only person I know of who makes the Iran Contra episode of our history understandable. One of the most exciting revelations is jack's confirmation that operation Gladio was real.
The reader is an excellent choice for the story.

A haunting, spellbinding tale.

This story is a torn pocket on a fine tailored suit. The damage makes you a little sick when you first see it. The suit from a distance looks immaculate. A close inspection reveals the jaundiced yellow flesh behind the torn fabric. Then you realize what thought was real is a lie.

Great history lesson!

This book is proof Hemingway would have made a great President. He understood, Foreign Policy, Diplomacy, Global Economics. He understood, and studied human nature. This is why we can connect with the people in his stories so easily. He framed the gateway so that we walk into the scene. The dialog between Mice and Your Correspondent. This is the third time I've listen to this title.

I have listened to almost all of the Audio book by and about Hemingway. He is like an old Friend now. This was the third time for Movable Feast. I have not listened to the earlier version. Each time I listen I learn something. It has many lessons for a writer. It has lessons for a code to live life by. I have listened to Fitzgerald and the book "Call me Zelda." But in the end I think Ernie had them both pegged. The comparison to Scott and the marred Butterfly wings is such fine writing. Only thing that equals this is the stream of consciousness paragraph in Islands in the Stream where Hem describes the Gulf Stream. Movable feast was my first Hemingway book maybe 5 or 6 years ago. I have since purchased all of his books that Audible has available. They are all great. I am convinced, if you have talent and you listen. Hem will make you a better writer. He is the teacher you always wanted. Buy the kindle version too so you can see and hear the words.
