Historia
Cast into a brutal military camp by his once loving master, Mateo feels like the last six wonderful years of his life have been a lie. With the mysteries surrounding him growing, Mateo knows that his only option is to become one of the supernaturally powerful Duelists and grow in power until he can take his fate into his own hands. That plan is thwarted from the beginning when he gets stuck with the lowest-ranked Root Card against his will, ensuring that his growth as a Duelist will always be excruciatingly slow.

I really enjoyed this book. I’ve also read book 2 on kindle. This series is off to a really good start. I can only hope the rest of the series is just as good.

Historia
Ever since the System brought magic and monstrous mayhem to Earth, long-haul trucker Jill "Junkmouth" MacLeod has had a need for speed. The highway snaking through the Midwestern plains is the battleground, and the stakes are the lives of not only Jill but thousands of survivors along for the ride. Together with Bertha, her mega-upgraded, fully-turreted, heavily-armored Soulbound big rig, Jill has the edge—so far.

A solid story so far
Revisado: 04-11-25
Book 1 - I was really iffy on this series. I believe I picked up the first book for free, otherwise I doubt I would have given it a shot. The beginning of this series took a little bit to get used to the story. The author uses a lot of corny swear word alternatives - like mother trucker instead of MFer. Needless to say, once I started getting into the book and got use to the odd swear words - the book wasn’t too bad. I’m sure there is going to a select group who will like this series while everyone will probably hate it. I’d recommend at least given it a shot - Just buy it on sell or even better wait til it’s free again. I did pick up book 2 which I enjoyed - I did purchase it with Kindle Unlimited. I will definitely be checkout book 3.
Book 2 - If you liked book 1 then you should enjoy book 2. Same storyline and same corny swear words. You’ve just gotten used to it. Book 2 was worth the cost. I definitely recommend it.

Historia
All that stands between rowdy long-haul trucker Jill MacLeod (aka Junkmouth) and her family back in Boston is two thousand miles of asphalt. Well, that and the monstrous game the System has had her playing ever since it descended on Earth. The reward: mana. Jill's goal: kill, score, drive—and stay alive. Behind the wheel of a turreted forty-ton semi named Bertha, Jill hammers east from Montana through a gauntlet of every kind of chomping, hissing, rabid creature imaginable. Barreling forward in her magical soulbound big rig and chalking up a bumper crop of roadkill, Jill isn't alone for long.

Historia
With five of the Orbs of Peace still at large and threatening the world’s survival, Cinder and Anya set forth to acquire them by any means. But their efforts—be it through simple ruses, espionage, or even war—are doomed if they cannot first shatter the falsehoods that warp their very memories. Are they the Blessed Ones of prophecy or simply broken avatars? It is a question without an easy answer, hindered as it is by deceptions that aren’t so easily overcome.

Too many orbs and too much forgetting
Revisado: 04-11-25
The search for all the orbs has gone on for 1 1/2 books and we’re still not done. This is the 3rd or 4th time the MC’s have had to forget their relationship. It’s starting to old and drawn out. I’m not sure if I will continue with the series.

Historia
After fulfilling the duty all Arch Necromancers are tasked with, the last thing Sylver Sezari expected was to be reborn. He was usually the one reanimating dead things, after all. How ironic. But reborn he was. And after crawling his way back into the land of the living, he finds himself in a strange land, a strange time, and with a strange floating screen in front of his new face. Either through plan or chance, he’s alive again, and planning to enjoy himself to his heart's content.

Started off okay
Revisado: 03-10-25
The first 2 books in this set were okay. The author rambles on too much. He tends to go off on tangents that only partially contributes to the storyline. I think I need to avoid undead stories. Authors tend to go into too much details which is fine to a point until it becomes disturbing. The author of this series actually does a fairly good job keeping things reasonably.
Book 3-4, the story starts to slow down and the author rambles more. I’m struggling to finish the 4th book. (I’m in the last 2-3 hrs) I got the app running at 3.0 speed reading. I think a lot of this is my personal preference. Others may enjoy this story more than I, but I think I will stop at book 4.
We all have our own preferences in stories, so even though I don’t care for this series. You might love it, so at least give it a go.

Good series
Revisado: 01-09-25
I’ve read up to book 14 so far. The MC is OP. The story is constantly moving forward. The author has avoided repetitious phrases or constantly rehashing things which is peasant. With that said, there are parts of this series that drag on long - I think a series this long it’s inevitable to have some slow points. There no harem aspects in the series. There is no mass slaughter of side characters - that doesn’t mean side characters don’t die just not wantingly. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book.

Book 6 & 7
Revisado: 12-13-24
Book 6 & 7 should really only be one book. The author keeps going off on random characters stories. I don’t mean like 3 or 4 people. No it’s more like a dozen random people. This happens throughout both books. It’s annoying and just extends the story which is probably why the author did it. I get the side stories sorta. I’m sure the author is trying to give a better overall experience of Minkalla, but it’s too much. Overall the story is still good. It just gets old seeing authors throw extra stuff into the story just to extend the storyline. It’s like in book 1 when the author explains Matt mana skill out to level 45 or so. Why? For me, it’s too much information at that moment. Explain it later on when the character is near that level because I won’t remember it from book 1.

Not bad once the story gets going
Revisado: 12-09-24
The first time I tried listening to the book - I didn’t even make it past a couple of chapter. It felt like the MC was going to be broken/useless in the storyline and I didn’t want to read that at the time. I recently gave the book a second try and found I mostly enjoyed the story. I didn’t like that the author rolled out stats for a skill to lvl 45? I can’t remember exactly. The author does this a couple of times. I’m not going to remember the stats when the MC reach’s said lvl, so it was pointless to list all that out. Otherwise, I liked the story. Oh and to be clear the MC is far from useless, but he is broken just in an OP way.

Book 2 - The second book is more exploring without getting into spoilers - Matt and his party fight on a world for 85 percent of the book than the last 15 percent experiment on rifts and get equipped for future adventures. Not a bad story, but it isn’t outstanding either. I would call this book a backstory book along with melding the party together.
