Historia
Dennis E. Taylor, author of the best-selling Bobiverse trilogy, explores a whole different, darker world in this sci-fi stand-alone. Determined to give his wife and children a better life back home, Ivan Pritchard ventures to the edge of known space to join the crew of the Mad Astra as an asteroid miner. He's prepared for hard work and loneliness—but not the unthinkable. After coming into contact with a mysterious alien substance, Pritchard finds an unwelcome entity sharing his mind, and a disturbing physical transformation taking place.

Storytelling is good. Theme is not so good.
Revisado: 07-12-18
Another story of an alien force that comes in contact with mankind, and with great power and causes mankind to stop global warming and other harm to the planet by threatening to kill us all. The military tries and can't stop the alien force. Then through clever negotiation, an agreement is reached and the alien entity helps man clean up the environment. The theme is the issue I take, but the way that it was told was done very well. The Performance was also done very well.

Historia
The least of these have the most to give. In Wherever the River Runs, Kelly Minter invites us on a journey down a river teeming with piranhas and caimans, as well as machete-wielding mothers, heroic jungle pastors, faith-filled children, and miracles too seldom experienced in our part of the world. Kelly's honest and engaging narrative pulls back the curtain on one of the most captivating places on earth as well as on parts of the gospel we may be able to recite but have never fully believed.

Historia
Trapped in the Dragon Tong's search for a lost legend, Steve Maxwell finds a way out by enlisting in the Lancastrian Commonwealth Fleet. If he survives long enough to earn a commission, he'll be able to hunt down the pirates who killed his mentor. To get there, he'll have to slog through rain-swollen swamps, dodge incoming fire on a 'peacekeeping' mission, and face down a gang of angry smugglers. Even far away from enemies, a mistake can turn a spaceship into a deathtrap.

Narrator does a good job. I was always eager to get back to the story.
