Historia
The beloved New York Times best seller from acclaimed author Eleanor Brown about three sisters who love each other, but just don't happen to like each other very much. Three sisters have returned to their childhood home, reuniting the eccentric Andreas family. Here, books are a passion (there is no problem a library card can't solve) and TV is something other people watch. Their father - a professor of Shakespeare who speaks almost exclusively in verse - named them after the Bard's heroines. It's a lot to live up to.

Hated It !

Whiny grown children moving home. Blah, blah... The only reason I finished it was because I unfortunately bought it.

Historia
In his 50s, Michael Gates Gill had it all: a big house in the suburbs, a loving family, and a top job at an ad agency with a six-figure salary. By the time he turned 60, he had lost everything except his Ivy League education and his sense of entitlement. First, he was downsized at work. Next, an affair ended his 20-year marriage. Then, he was diagnosed with a slow-growing brain tumor, prognosis undetermined. Around the same time, his girlfriend gave birth to a son.

A Really Good Listen
Revisado: 04-15-08
This book is great. I loved the story, the people in the story. The best part is seeing a guy get over numerous bad situations in his life. Kudos to Starbucks too!

Historia
In late 2003, in his column in Entertainment Weekly, Stephen King called The Memory of Running "the best novel you won't read this year." This glowing endorsement of the audiobook resulted in Ron McLarty receiving a $2 million two-book deal from Viking Penguin. Also, Warner Brothers has shelled out big bucks for the movie rights to The Memory of Running, for which McLarty will write the script.

Just a story.
Revisado: 04-11-05
This book is just that, just a story. There is nothing to compell you to listen very long unless it is the only booktape you brought along on the trip. Very predictable. Funny in parts. But again, just a story about riding a bike across the country.
