pretty fun. self-aware doesn't take itself seriously. comedy at least an 8/9 out of 10 fun world doesn't dwell on deep topics keeps the laughs coming

I am so happy to have listened to the next book in the series. I love relk (I think that's how it's spelled lol) he is my favorite one in the book. I know they say he's not easy on the eyes but I feel in love with his personality flaws and all.

ngl I'm not a fan of the sister

Like why did the author make her like that it's not as bad as it could be but still. Like what's with the brother complex. The author shows they can write a more appropriate complex with the male mc. To be honest I'm not a fan of the human segment as a whole like I know the purpose they serve but (all my options obviously) the mc guy for the humans is so passive and has no personally to a point it hurts. The elf teacher way of talking is to much at times. And the author blatantly spells out that sexual preference is determined by the body not the mind or the soul . So if your a man you like women if your a woman you like men and that all there is to it. I know it's this is ment for a younger audience so I'm not still giving it a a rating based on that I just home the story improves if not at least not it’s worse on the point I brought up. I’ll still enjoy continuing this series. Can’t wait to start the next book.

This is a good book but feels like it was made for teens.

I enjoyed the book for the most part. The story speed is slow that for sure. And there not shy about reading the whole caricature sheet. Whale making my way through the book I kept feeling like something was off. Then it hit me this story is holding back on how dark and complex it can be. To the point I felt like I was hearing a story for teens. Overall it was a fun book that well dragging on some parts was entertaining.

I have grown to be an even bigger fan of this series if that was even possible. The witches didn not disappoint. And the ending is top notch. Can't wait for the next book.

story expects you to go along with things too much.

The mc is said to be very cautious, but none of his actions are cautiousness. he has a burning desire to save a girl he’s known for less than a few hours. And why she kind of helped him and because she’s pretty? and his knowledge is all over the place. they’re being moments where it makes more sense for him to know things then to have no idea. relationships and friendships progress way too quickly. Like hi I just met you, and I know this is crazy, but we’re brothers now. overall think the narrators did a good job and I liked the mimic.
