Historia
Chemist Elizabeth Zott is not your average woman. In fact, Elizabeth Zott would be the first to point out that there is no such thing as an average woman. But it’s the early 1960s and her all-male team at Hastings Research Institute takes a very unscientific view of equality. Except for one: Calvin Evans; the lonely, brilliant, Nobel–prize nominated grudge-holder who falls in love with—of all things—her mind. True chemistry results.

really didn't like it
Revisado: 01-19-25
Anti-Catholic. Anti-God. Author obviously did minimal research. The dog's parts of the book were too over the top. As well as the thought process of a 4-year-old. The story itself could have been good, but there's too much of an agenda, and and not very much substance to care about anyone in particular. "Juvenile" is the word that comes to mind to describe the book. The narrator did very well though.

sweet but drawn out
Revisado: 02-01-24
It is a sweet story without too much graphic sex. A lot of cliche comments and I felt like it took too long, but I was grateful for the happy ending. The narrator was pretty good. She did the accents really well, but sometimes I felt like she lacked depth in the way she vocalized feelings and conversations.

Narrator wasn't bad, but not the best either. Sometimes all the characters sounded the same. Emma and Jack needed to.ve developed more to make me want to see them together. Story was a bit dull.

But the story begins on the eve of the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. At the Duchess of Richmond's new legendary ball, one family's life will change forever.

Historia
When wilderness guide Harper Ward is summoned to the small town sheriff's office in Helena Springs, Montana, to provide assistance on a case, she is shocked to find that their only suspect in the double murder investigation is a man described as a savage. But the longer she watches the man known only as Lucas, on the station surveillance camera, the more intrigued she becomes. He certainly looks primitive with his unkempt appearance and animal skin attire, but she also sees intelligence in his eyes, sensitivity in his expression. Who is he?

sweet story but kinda like high class porn
Revisado: 09-23-21
I enjoyed the story and thought it was very sweet. but I have never been very big on the sex scenes and these were quite detailed. if that's your thing, then you will enjoy this book! but I can do without it.

Historia
Kailyn Flowers was always calm, rational, and controlled—until she ended up sprawled all over Daxton Hughes, the former actor she totally crushed on as a teenager. Then she did the unthinkable: She became a mortifying fangirl in five seconds flat, which may or may not have included professing her undying love. And oddly, he didn't run away. In fact, their meet cute led to a friendship she never saw coming. Of course, she never saw his betrayal coming, either....

It was okay.
Revisado: 03-23-21
I don't think I realized when I downloaded this book that it was from a romance novelist. I like light romance, but don't need all the sex. I felt like the characters are very shallow for most of the book. I was looking for a good story, which it was a nice story, but very predictable, and some sweet romance. So, it might be for you, but it wasn't for me. The narrator did a pretty good job for most of it, but I felt like it could have been a little bit more realistic.

Cute little story, but not my favorite Molly Harper. Being from Kentucky, I did enjoy hearing about the different aspects of the state. The narrator was excellent.
