I think the story would have been a good listen if not for the narrators. They read the story as if they were reading aloud in school. No notable inflection or emotions to convey the words that were being said.

Wrong story line description

I read the first two books with ease but this one was a rough one to complete. Mason acted first then? Way too long after to ask why her actions were the way they were. For a man who loves his mother and wants to save her life to then basically take a young woman and beat her into submission doesn't really have the same character of said man.

Impressive 🎬 plot

I was surprisingly inadvertently impressed by the change of the hero's plot line. It took the storyline and that of its characters to a much more appealing approach to a basic concept done over to death. I would even like to see these H/H in a continuous story to expand on their future stories.
