I recently found this series on Audible and decided to give the first book a try. I then read the second and just finished "reading" this last book in the series. Needles to say I found the books entertaining, so much so, that I took a trip to Eastport, Maine to see if the author's description of the town had the same feel in person. It did! I actually was talking to someone who moved to Eastport after she read the series. I was glad, however, that there weren't any murders...thank goodness for creative license.

Overall, this story is cute and entertaining, with shades of the Twilight storyline, except it is not with vampires. Although the narrator is very talented, her rendition of Miranda (and some lesser female characters) can get very annoying, whining and hitting decibels way above what one should have to endure. I will be listening to the next book to see what happens but I will not be using my ear buds.

I recommended this book to my mother for bookclub. Everyone enjoyed it despite the fact that nobody has ever agreed on a book. An entertaining story and the narrator made it easy to follow the characters.

This is a very quick story, filled with young adult insecurity from the main character Kaitlyn and simple dialogue. The way it is narrated makes Magnus sound like he is always in pain but the narrator is able to switch between characters readily to make it easy to follow along. If you are a fan of Outlander you may enjoy the time travel aspect of this book but don't expect much in terms of depth of storyline.
