An astounding amalgam of hard-won knowledge. A human triumph in understanding and and making explicit, the Truths of ancient cultural myths, religion, alchemy, biology, sociology, and the nature of the individual. I believe Peterson just acutely sharpened for the better, Nietzsche’s Übermensch, and has laid out a it’s core message: Do not lie and do not do what you hate, and through these noble aims, the world will reveal itself to you. This man deserves every positive accolade available to us for this gargantuan, lifelong effort. If you read and share any book this year, please make it this one.

Thank you for your bravery in dragging your soul in front of the mirror, wavy as it may be, and forcing it to account for itself in every manner; not turning away at the ugly bits and even tearfully at times scribing every detail as it were and not how you-we-wish it to be. The result is beautiful, laudable, and more worthy of sharing than any I can recall in recent memory.

For leading a generation through its blindness and darkness and confusion, I hope for the very highest and the very best for you.

We should all be screaming ceaselessly Pulitzer’s and Nobel’s names for accolades to be heaped both upon the work you’ve produced in this book, and for the inner work it took to be able to produce it.

Mostly, and personally, thank you for heartening a young man like me with your incisive thoughts and carefully articulated words.

What is it with these military muscle heads all hopped up on adrenaline and blinded by the story they've been told about 'duty to protect' that makes them think they can just drone on about killing people and call it a business book on leadership? Not the same. Huge stretch. The new work force isn't bound by constraints of rank and doesn't take orders blindly for the vaguest sense of patriotism (or in business, the profit of owners). So, now knowing your drivel is irrelevant, can you please spread the word; stop writing humble-bragging faux leadership books! It's frustrating!

Oh pretty please, drone on about yourself. Dear lord. The power of thought or the power of self aggrandizement? No,no, no, thank you.

Would love to hear more details on the Stanford / studies talk around the more esoteric spiritual aspects mentioned. Great voiceover work.

A rushed speaking style combined with stating and restating the obvious make this unbearable for me. Maybe someone out there needs this style and information. I'm stuck feeling like I'm waiting for the salesman to close me. Couldn't finish the book.

DEAR. GOD. How much qualification and caveating is needed to SAY SOMETHING? Apparently, and entire book. The guy can't make a point that he doesn't have to metaphorically travel around the world to explain. Horrible.

This is the best book you'll read this year. You'll come away with new ideas and a bit more open to hedonic pursuits for your own good.

An amazingly insightful look into the real incentives behind foreign aid and policy that drive autocrats and democrats alike.

My takeaway was that rather than fighting our most selfish and human tendencies, that it is possible to use those very same tendencies to create peaceful intergovernmental alignment that benefits more than government leaders and their closely held constituents. A blueprint to use crony capitalism him to engender I'm warfare and prosperous world.

My favorite book of the past year!

This book should be a primary text for every high school student and university the world over.

Superior writing and performance. But I'm white, and frustrated at the resignation that things are the way they are. I'm also inspired and envious at the message that seems to have hope in a grounded and sometimes horrible but sometimes wonderful, and un-takable, and proud reality. It gave me a perspective I could not have come to otherwise.
