On a friends recommendation I added unverified to my library and thrilled I did. This is so much more than a great romcom. It had me laughing out loud and falling hard for Matthew, Margo, and their crazy journey. Peppered with all my favorite 80’s pop culture references I could not stop listening and finished it in 2 days! The characters are complex, the plot has fun unexpected twists, and the writer Kristin has an amazing talent for setting up vivid descriptions of each scene. How is this is not being made into a movie! Although it lacked a red velvet armadillo cake, it had everything else I wanted in a fun lighthearted listen. I know I will be the first in line to watch Matthew and Margo when they hit the big screen.
