One of the finest most fully satisfying books to the inquiring soul

On the level of story it is filled out in beautiful detail. But it is the inquiry into the mystery of life itself through the ages both the biology of it and the spirituality of it that is so fully explored. And finally there is the exquisite drawing of characters in relationship meeting their destinies in relationship that is endlessly fascinating and ultimately thoroughly pleasing.
