Not your typical cozy

This isn't your typical cozy mystery. It doesn't have any fun/comedy that the usual cozy mystery has. For me, the book was a bit dry. Perhaps if there had been a little bit (even just the smallest amount) of humor to the book, it would have been a bit more palatable. Otherwise, it was a decent story.

This cozy mystery is not like many of the others. This one involves a math professor. One who loves to solve puzzles. Using the puzzle solving techniques that she has learned over the years, she sets out to solve the mystery of the murder of a fellow professor and exonerate her assistant. A little lengthy for the actual story, but it holds your attention.

This was a frustrating listen. I struggled to make it to the end. The story started out well, but quickly went downhill. The characters started to grate on my nerves and I could not wait for the story to be over.

This mystery seems to drag on a bit longer than necessary. At one point I almost gave up on finishing the book, but I managed to stay with it. Good story, but parts could have been eliminated.
