Couldn’t put it down! Didn’t want it to end!
Revisado: 09-14-24
I really enjoyed the short series, so I had to “Read“ the books. I wasn’t disappointed! Exceptional storytelling. Can’t wait to start the next one ( I am hoping the books end with Robin and Cormoran as a couple). That would put the frosting on the cake.

Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Revisado: 05-18-22
Wow! “walk a mile” in her shoes & take a good look into the real struggle for survival that many face in our country of “plenty”! At the very least, this story will answer many questions & should silence many criticisms! I hope it is a catalyst for long overdue change! It has changed me. Thank you for sharing your story, Linda Tirado!

The worst Narration ever!!! AWFUL
Revisado: 01-16-21
I really wanted to listen to the story, but it was beyond annoying with completely wrong prosody! I had to work too hard to decipher where sentences end & what emotion should be expressed, because all narrations sounded like an overly expressive commercial with no appropriate differentiation for normal narration.

Historia
The hardscrabble folks of Troublesome Creek have to scrap for everything - everything except books, that is. Thanks to Roosevelt's Kentucky Pack Horse Library Project, Troublesome's got its very own traveling librarian, Cussy Mary Carter. Cussy's not only a book woman, however, she's also the last of her kind, her skin a shade of blue unlike most anyone else. Not everyone is keen on Cussy's family or the Library Project, and a Blue is often blamed for any whiff of trouble.

Muffled voice is very hard to understand
Revisado: 06-27-19
The narration is very difficult to understand! the voice is muffled and the words slurred together; the words should be clear and distinct enough to hear them as they are the story!! I was very disappointed because the story itself seems very interesting, but the narration was so awful I could not listed to it.
