Historia
Russia expert Luke Harding lays out the most in-depth look to date at the Trump campaign's dealings with Russia. Beginning with a meeting with Christopher Steele, the man behind the shattering dossier that first brought the allegations to light, Harding probes the histories of key Russian and American players with striking clarity and insight. Harding exposes the disquieting details of the Trump-Russia story - a saga so huge it involves international espionage, offshore banks, sketchy real estate deals, mobsters, money laundering, disappeared dissidents, and more.

Necessary reading for all Americans

This fills in a lot of the blanks and puts events in meaningful chronological order as the evidence continues to mount against Trump and other associated personnel.

Had much higher hopes
Revisado: 10-04-17
As fascinating as this topic is and as excited as I was to read this, I ultimately couldn't finish due to the high frequency of swear words. They were literally everywhere.
It feels odd to be writing this, because I don't feel I'm hyper - sensitive to language, but it was extremely distracting. These words are (of course) included as parts of quotes from the people involved in the campaign, and the feeling you get while listening to these people definitely drove home how evil they routinely were.
I think the substance of this book is very valuable. I'm glad it provides a way for the American people to peer inside the current political train wreck. Call me simplistic, but while I do value realism, I truly wish this account could have been executed in a more sensitive fashion.

What are the ranges and limitations of presidential authority? What are the standards of truthfulness that a president must uphold? What will it take to impeach Donald J. Trump? Professor Allan J. Lichtman, who has correctly forecasted 30 years of presidential outcomes, answers these questions, and more, in The Case for Impeachment - a deeply convincing argument for impeaching the 45th president of the United States.

Every American should read this!
Revisado: 04-24-17
Would you consider the audio edition of The Case for Impeachment to be better than the print version?
Every American should read this - no matter your political persuasion. You may or may not agree with the author's assertion that the book is even-handed politically - (I agree that it is, although I am not a Trump supporter), but I feel all Americans should better understand a few things that this book strongly presents:
1) Which actions & matters can lead to impeachment - Impeachment happens so rarely that the great majority of Americans have no idea what factors may actually play a role. This book illustrates different impeachable offenses by referring to historical examples and relating them to the current President's actions when applicable.
2) Donald Trump's previous actions, in a wide range of contexts, that could/would qualify him for impeachment. No matter your political persuasion, Americans should know the things that Trump is on record as having done. You may be surprised. If you're a Trump supporter, even if you may find that you're not very concerned, you will be more informed and able to better talk about or think through these past actions when they come up in conversation or news stories.
3) What Trump can do to avoid impeachment. Again, no matter your political persuasion, these specifics are important to be aware of. If you are not a Trump supporter, knowing Trump's expected plans of defense will alert you if/when he begins circling his wagons. Unlike other reviewers, I think this information was valuable to include in the book so we can better interpret and respond to what we're likely to see happening in the future.
At the most basic level, I feel it's valuable for Americans to know the offenses Trump has already committed and which are most likely to lead to impeachment. On election night, I was hoping that someone would quickly write this book, I'm so glad Lichtman was the author and that he did so well putting these issues, applicable previous offenses, and the brief historical context surrounding impeachment into layman's terms.
Very worth your time - direct and to the point.

From a brilliant new literary voice comes a groundbreaking exploration of how trails help us understand the world, from tiny ant trails to hiking paths that span continents, from interstate highways to the Internet. In 2009, while hiking the Appalachian Trail, Robert Moor began to wonder about the paths that lie beneath our feet: How do they form? Why do some improve over time while others fade? What makes us follow or strike off on our own?

Wonderful Book - needs a bit more audio editing!
Revisado: 11-23-16
Very enjoyable book! There were a few instances of audio editing issues, where the reader read the same sentence twice in a row and both readings were included in the final product, but a wonderful book and a great reader over all (reader even did all the voices - lol!)
