Historia
When people started to develop superpowers, the world changed forever. Me? I wasn't one of the lucky ones with powers. So I had to develop more mundane skills, skills which have taken me across the globe on dangerous missions. But there are some missions I’ve always had to refuse. I've never been able to take on a super. They're just too powerful. They're gods, whereas I'm just a man, even with all my knowledge and training. All that changes after I discover my dad's secret research project.

The narrator reads robotically the story is good, just needs some emotion in the reading.

Life is full of choices. Right now, yours is whether or not to buy the autobiography of a mid-grade, kind of hammy actor.

So rad
Revisado: 04-01-20
This was a great book illustrating the life of an actor and the people that he encountered along the journey of becoming a cult classic actor. Read by the writer, it gives the feel of the person that was really there in the trenches of these movies and shows.

Historia
A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of very curious photographs. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets 16-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

Historia
In 1989 Ken Follett astonished the literary world with The Pillars of the Earth, set in 12th-century England. Readers and listeners ever since have hoped for a sequel. At last, here it is. Although the two novels may be listened to in any order, World Without End also takes place in Kingsbridge, two centuries after the townspeople finished building their exquisite Gothic cathedral. The cathedral is again at the center of a web of love and hate, greed and pride, ambition and revenge.

You'll have a hard time putting it down
Revisado: 02-29-16
This was an amazing listen! The first book "Pillars of the Earth" was a great book and this book was equally as impressive! It is daunting to see that both books are around 40 hours but so very worth it! John Lee does and amazing job at making you want to listen to his every word!
Highly recommended!
