Holy hell, what was that book?!?!? My brain is fried after another amazing tale from Andrew Rowe. I was simply enjoying the magical education and world building, when all of a sudden the world itself decided to tear itself apart. Familial battles decided by true strategy. And permanent damages decided by the need for salvation. True feelings of love for something can only be experienced with some form of loss, and this story exploits that wonderfully.

First one that I gave a 4-star rating on. The rest have all been 5-stars. Only reason why is, I didn’t like the use of essentially flashbacks of Homefront. It sounded like an epic story happened, and I missed it. Which I learned afterwards that book 7.5 happened and 3.5 happened which I missed both. :/ still an amazing story but my OCD is kicking me for missing the stories out of order.
