Historia
Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College-Violet included. But Threshing was only the first impossible test meant to weed out the weak-willed, the unworthy, and the unlucky. Now the real training begins, and Violet’s already wondering how she’ll get through. It’s not just that it’s grueling and maliciously brutal, or even that it’s designed to stretch the riders’ capacity for pain beyond endurance. It’s the new vice commandant, who’s made it his personal mission to teach Violet exactly how powerless she is–unless she betrays the man she loves.

I started the series a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t stop. The story is awesome. I could leave the sex scenes out as it slowed down the action and story of the battles but it was all great. Not a huge fan of the male reader but mainly because the female reader did so well I got used to her and her voices.

Historia
Robert Iger became CEO of The Walt Disney Company in 2005, during a difficult time. Competition was more intense than ever, and technology was changing faster than at any time in the company’s history. His vision came down to three clear ideas: Recommit to the concept that quality matters, embrace technology instead of fighting it, and think bigger - think global - and turn Disney into a stronger brand in international markets.

Everything about this was wonderful. The performance. The writing. The history. Just great. It is always fun to listen to how Disney got to be the great company that they are.

Historia
Sports teams that win have more than just talented players: they’ve also mastered the concept of teamwork, which requires more than just athletic skill. It’s a mindset that makes every player think beyond themselves, bring a positive attitude, look out for one another, and stay focused on the job at hand. The value of these skills in the workplace is inescapable. In this workshop, Jay Wright, head coach of the Villanova University basketball team, shares his vision of what teamwork means and highlights three audiobooks that helped shape his approach.

Glad he is alive wish the book wasn’t.
Revisado: 05-23-23
Take out the real person and the fact that we all knew him as a famous actor and listen to the book as a fiction or from the point of view of never knowing this person. It is a story of a misogynist, egotistical, rich white snobby kid who never grew up and found drugs and became very addicted with the possibilities of dying from that addiction multiple times. Once you remove the well known character the story is interesting, you HATE the main character and you are so confused on why he is still sad and does drug but you can’t stop listening because you want to know the end. Truly frustrating and annoying but honestly brave and interesting to learn more.

A fantastic tool
Revisado: 05-23-23
This started out as a mandatory read for my company and during my disgruntlement of being forced to read something during an already slammed work load, it began to become more and more interesting and helpful and then it was the best tool I had in my arsenal.
