Historia
It’s 1942. German Nazis occupy much of France. And twelve-year-old Miriam, who is Jewish, is not safe. With help and quick thinking, Miri is saved from the roundup that takes her entire Jewish neighborhood. She escapes Paris, landing in a small French village, where the spires of the famous Chateau de Chenonceau rise high into the sky, its bridge across the River Cher like a promise, a fairy tale.

Historia
Nine-year-old Ada has never left her one-room apartment. Her mother is too humiliated by Ada's twisted foot to let her outside. So when her little brother Jamie is shipped out of London to escape the war, Ada doesn't waste a minute - she sneaks out to join him. So begins a new adventure of Ada, and for Susan Smith, the woman who is forced to take the two kids in. As Ada teaches herself to ride a pony, learns to read, and watches for German spies, she begins to trust Susan.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading every, hearing every word written and spoken in the story. I bought the book because my 12 year old was ready and shared the story with me. I've finished the book but she's still reading. The author kept my attention the whole time. She pulls on my emotions so much. Being newly disabled allowed me to connect with Ada. My heart was full when they went home.

Historia
Based on the highly popular and successful book, How to Hear God's Voice, this exciting new book emphasizes the four keys to hearing god's voice. "When I learned to hear God's voice after 11 years as a believer without it, every part of me was radically transformed. Thousands have told me they have had this same metamorphosis, and I believe that this will become your testimony also," writes co-author, Mark Virkler.

Horrible voice
Revisado: 03-12-18
Horrible reader! Such a monotone voice. His vice had ruined to truth that lies inside this book. I had to purchase the book to understand.
