Historia
In a contest of intellect and wills, Abby Gersten, a tenacious civil liberties attorney, defends a right-wing Holocaust denier, arguing her case against a young, committed Jewish federal prosecutor. But Abby may have to sacrifice everything to prove that Truth and Justice do not always go hand in hand. Performed by a full cast starring Stephanie Zimbalist, Harold Gould, and more.

A riveting story
Revisado: 11-22-21
An well written and excellently acted play. A great piece that should foster thought and conversation about truth, beliefs, justice and denial.
As a companion piece to this play, I’d recommend the film “Denial” starting Rachel Weisz.

Historia
Killing Floor is the first book in the phenomenal best-selling Jack Reacher series by Lee Child. It introduces Reacher for the first time, as the tough ex-military cop of no fixed abode. Trained to think fast and act faster, he is the perfect action hero for when times get tough.

Too much of a reach
Revisado: 10-02-20
While I had some interest in learning about the Jack Reacher character I thought starting with the introductory book would be a good choice. Wow was I wrong. This audio presentation is dreadful. The reader did not paint a good word picture of the character or the story to create an interesting world. His reading was uneven and often times irritating. The character Jack Reacher isn't even very interesting. If anything, Jack Reacher is the problem in this book. He ultimately creates more chaos and mayhem in his bid to get some kind of revenge or even the scales. There is no nuance or even a semblance of character development for further stories. This should have been a one and done. The author doesn't give us any reason to care about him. He's a mindless robot. The author should have left this character Jack Reacher on the killing floor and moved on.
