Historia
Eudora Honeysett is done with this noisy, moronic world - all of it. She has witnessed the indignities and suffering of old age and has lived a full life. At 85, she isn’t going to leave things to chance. Her end will be on her terms. With one call to a clinic in Switzerland, a plan is set in motion. Then she meets 10-year-old Rose Trewidney, a whirling, pint-sized rainbow of sparkling cheer. All Eudora wants is to be left alone to set her affairs in order.

A delightful and insightful story
Revisado: 08-08-22
A wonderful story about intergenerational relationships centered around elderly Eudora and her neighbor little Rosie. I love how the book weaves end of life and beginning of life (Rosie and baby Daisy). It does skip in time from Eudoras younger years to her present, but it is very clear on the jumps. Love how it intertwined the fan

historical fiction about the kindetr transports
Revisado: 08-03-20
I learned a lot about the courageous transport of Jewish children out of Germany to England during the early part of WWII. Fascinating and well worth reading. The audible book is excellent since it pronounced the German words and names properly. Highly recommend... not depressing like so msny war stories. It follows history accurately.l

Beautiful story of love lost, found, lost. No spoiler, but the ending does not disappoint. Takes place in Vienna, I think mid-century. I learned a lot about the setting. The plot is intrguing and unpredictable. Highly recommend as audiobook--well performed, even with authenticmusic at the end.

the performance was great, the sroryline was weak and hard to follow in reverse chronological order,,,i usually love her books, based on current social issues. while it did address the pros and cons of abortion, the outcome was confusing.
