It is the morning after the storm. Thick fog covers everything. In the stifling, claustrophobic atmosphere, Howie and his group head out for supplies. Skirmishes and tense fights take place and there are messages left in blood at key sites: 'he's coming'. As the day progresses, Howie becomes increasingly darker in thought, and more demanding of his team. By the end of the day they have discovered a munitions factory, but can Howie hold it together?

New Narrator - Different voice for Dave

Good book! Only downfall was that it was hard to get used to the character Dave's voice. I really enjoyed that character in the previous books, and looked forward to him in this book. He was a lot "dimmer" sounding in this book.
But, the new narrator did a good job! Good book, and I am looking forward to the next. Can't wait!

Great book! Didn't want to stop listening. Had some long parts like any book, but it kept your attention and wanting more. Will listen to more of this authors books, even if I don't seem interested in the title/summary of the book because the authors note at the end of the was down right brilliant!!!! I hope he does do another sequel to this. I want more!!!
Narrator was very, very good. I'm going to look for more of his readings.

Yes, but I would recommend that they start from book 1.

Hmmmm, maybe the end scene. When they are eating at the fort.

This series was so addicting. I was so disappointed today when I got on Audible to look for the next book. I then went to the authors webpage, and found out that the next book has not come out yet. Man was I disappointed!!!

What made the experience of listening to The Undead: Part 1 the most enjoyable?
At first, it was the narrator. I really enjoyed listening to him.
What did you like best about this story?
It really kept you on the edge. I do not mind the gore. And the characters are so well done. You really start to feel for them.

I just finished all of this series, and I am very upset I can not keep listening! At this point, only 7 books are made.

This book surprised me!

I'm glad I stuck this book out. It was a little slow, and hard to get into, but once I did, I couldn't wait to finish it! I enjoyed the last part of the book as well. The narrator was good as well. I am not a religious person, but this was a good choice. I got it on the audible buy of day.
