Historia
Rex Fortescue, king of a financial empire, was sipping tea in his "counting house" when he suffered an agonizing and sudden death. On later inspection, the pockets of the deceased were found to contain traces of cereals. Yet, it was the incident in the parlor that confirmed Miss Marple's suspicion that here she was looking at a case of crime by rhyme....

It was a good book
Revisado: 10-23-24
The story left several clues out just mentioned at the end. Miss Marple does not show a lot, but here and there. The detective was the one getting all the clues and putting them together. Yes, Miss Marple put her ideas together but it was a detective story not Miss Marple’s. The story was really good, the narrator was amazing but I wish Miss Marple had more scenes. Good book.

Historia
Soon after Gwenda moved into her new home, odd things started to happen. Despite her best efforts to modernize the house, she only succeeded in dredging up its past. Worse, she felt an irrational sense of terror every time she climbed the stairs. In fear, Gwenda turned to Miss Marple to exorcise her ghosts. Between them, they were to solve a “perfect” crime committed many years before.

Nice story
Revisado: 10-10-24
The story was nice and well narrated but the one listening has to be used to Agatha Christie’s style to follow this one since all correct conclusions come in the end. Miss Marple was not the main character thinking through as the story rolls but the young couple involved in the plot. They were sometimes annoying. And lost with too many conclusions. But since I love Agatha Christie’s style, it was not difficult to enjoy the story. But I followed my own instincts and got rewarded. Sure I recommend it!

Historia
In utter disbelief, Miss Marple read the letter addressed to her from the recently deceased Mr. Rafiel...an acquaintance she had met briefly on her travels. He had left instructions for her to investigate a crime after his death. The only problem was, he had failed to tell her who was involved or where and when the crime had been committed. It was most intriguing. Soon she is faced with a new crime...the ultimate crime...murder. It seems someone is adamant that past evils remained buried....

Absolutely great!
Revisado: 10-03-24
I love it. I am used to read and listen to Agatha Christie’s books and am a fan of Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot. Nemesis with Miss Marple was very easy to follow, although some clues were left out that could help us put together a few ideas. But overall, a great book, and the narrator was amazing.

Creepy Puppets
Revisado: 04-30-24
Narration was perfect. Storyline was easy reading. I thought Johnny, the main character, was annoying but I believe that was the intention of the book. He was very real. We know a lot of people like him. The story was surreal but very interesting.

Very poor narration
Revisado: 03-02-23
Narration was so flat there was no way to identify who was talking until the person’s name was mentioned. The story was read so fast there was no time to even feel the plot. Very disappointed.

Historia
In appearance Hercule Poirot hardly resembled an ancient Greek hero. Yet, reasoned the detective, like Hercules, he had been responsible for ridding society of some of its most unpleasant monsters. So, in the period leading up to his retirement, Poirot makes up his mind to accept just 12 more cases: his self-imposed "Labors". Each would go down in the annals of crime as a heroic feat of deduction.

Hugh Fraser with his excellent narration, as always, makes the book extremely enjoyable to listen. I have read the book and love Mr Poirot’s stories but could not pass the opportunity to listen it. Agatha Christie is still one of the best book writers.

Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

Revisado: 02-21-20
I love how the book analyzes the holographic universe and how we are deeply involved in the quantum field. Gregg is the narrator and did a great job. He reads with the emotions he probably had when he wrote the book. I am a great admirer of his work.

I am enjoying the storyline. It’s still keeping my attention as I get more familiar with the main characters. Easy reading. Luke Daniels USA An amazing narrator and we ca feel the characters emotions through his voice. I love sci-fi and this story is taking far away in space and time. Love it. Reading book 3 now

Great story
Revisado: 11-29-18
I was not expecting to enjoy the storyline so much. I really like the narrator, Luke has the ability to make us believe that there are more people narrating due to his voice changing skill. And the storyline was almost like the author really lived the situation. He was excellent with details. It is a modern story of alien invasion but seeing by an earthling perspective. I really enjoyed
