Get past the beginning

Within the first 10 minutes I was ready to quit. It was intense and almost depressing, didn’t find anyway I could enjoy it.
(Maybe because I knew nothing of what to expect due to not reading about it before.)
It wasn’t my cup of tea, normally the scenes in this make me incredibly uncomfortable and the first 5 chapters I still wasn’t the most comfortable. It was awkward things made me feel almost gross at point, not because it was gross but because I’ve grown up thinking it’s all bad and just gross. But forcing myself to keep going I finished it, with a great ending and great overall story. I wouldn’t recommend it for just anyone but, for the open minded and somewhat effed up mind.
