I think this is one of those books better read, as opposed to listening to on audible. I realize Rene Auborjonis (spelling? ) is deceased and I truly miss him as a reader. The reader of this book ruined it for me--His voice at times drifted down to a whisper and I had to rewind to hear what I missed. He also emoted so much and raised his voice for no real purpose in many parts. I have purchased EVERY AUDIBLE book featuring Agent Pendergast, (One of my favorite characters) and this was a huge disappointment. While the story was at best okay, the voices rarely changed much between Constance, a woman and agent cold moon a male. I also had the feeling that someone other than Preston and Child wrote a lot of the story. Rene was the best reader you ever used and his death was a shame.

I got this free and still feel I overpaid for it--Just my wasted time in trying to listen has value. The sound effects, if you call it that are very distracting and it seems like it was put together by a couple pre teens.

Unnecessary F* bombs through out this book

What did you like best about The Fold? What did you like least?
Liked the story and would have rated it higher if the Character Sasha didn't have to say FU** Me 100 times for no reason or effect at all.
That's what today's teenagers seem to use way too much. 4 or 5 times would have been enough to set the mood of that character. It otherwise ruined a real good story. Hey Author--grow up!
