Really great book, a lot of cussing
Revisado: 01-06-24
I love the book, but the sex senes were kinda unnecessary. And the cussing really took away from the story.

Historia
Alec began his 18th birthday with the temple monks. By day's end, he discovers he possesses magical abilities. Except his magic is unique. He doesn't require grimoires and incantations to cast spells. Alec's magic is entirely natural. He can, somehow, absorb the elements from objects and manipulate them according to his will. This power is incredible, but difficult to master. If he's going to learn how to use his natural magic, it'll take the tutelage of Archmage Diamondspear, one of the most adept magic users in the kingdom.

Good story, weird word usage
Revisado: 12-02-23
The story was great, but there were just random cuss words that didn’t add anything whatsoever to the story. I wish there wasn’t any cussing.

Historia
Great Rapscott School for the Daughters of Busy Parents is not your typical boarding school. Students arrive in boxes, birthday cake is served for breakfast, and two very talented corgis assist the rather quirky headmistress. This semester the girls will learn how to get to The Top, but the semester is not off to a good start. One of the girls doesn't make it back to school, and when her friends try to rescue her, they wind up at the Bottom of the Barrel. Luckily Ms. Rapscott knows that learning to fail is the secret to Going Far in life.

This book told a totally true story, and it felt awesome to just listen to a normal kid have normal problems.
