Best Book

I first read ARMOR in 1991 while in the Navy during desert Storm. I felt it was the best book I ever read at the time. I recently picked it up on Audible and it has confirmed my belief that it is the best stand alone book I have ever read. Something in this book spoke to me. I have shared it with several friends and family and they have all said they liked it. Maybe not "Best Book Ever" level, but liked it. I would suggest this book to anyone. I laughed, chuckled, was nervous, anxiety ridden, scared, & cried. This book had it all. please read and enjoy.

Pleasently Surprised.

I had no idea what this book was really about. But when I started listening to it, I was instantly drawn in. It is not the type of book I usually listen to but I would definitely recommend it for anybody that grew up in a rough situation or for anybody for that matter. I also really like the YouTube channel and I watch It faithfully.

It was everything that I hoped it would be starting at the very beginning of his life, going through his young musical career talking about his friendship with his band mates and how each album came to be. In order all the way up through the pandemic, it was tough listening to the part about Neil passing away. This has always been one of my favorite bands.

it felt like the author was trying too hard. A lot of past references which were cool, but Reacher did things he would not normally do. Story behind Little diss jointed. I felt like there were several loose ends that were not wrapped up properly. just not one of the better Reacher books. Maybe the brother riding them will get better, hopefully. I really enjoy the Reacher books hope he does better.

Fantastic narration

the story was ok. IMO, it could have been great but the military depiction/interaction just did not feel genuine. There were also several instances where the book rambled off in a random direction for no apparent reason. Several times it felt like a new subplot was starting just to fizzle out. It was good enough that I completed it mostly because of the narrator. Mark Boyett was fantastic! He really brought life to this story. worth the credit if you can't decide what to listen to.

Great book

one of the funniest science fiction books I have ingested in a long time. I literally burst out laughing every few minutes while listening to this book. Besides for being funny, it is highly entertaining. the storyline is engaging and there are no slow boring parts to mention. I bought extra credits to get the next books. it was that good. If you are a science fiction fan, I absolutely recommend this book. if you have read any of my other reviews you know I do not pull punches. this book was really, really good.

Disappointing

Hard to believe this was written by the same author as RPO. It came off like a 13 year olds dribble. Characters that were not developed and others that were just done poorly. Even the protagonist flip flopped in his personality in a very unbelievable way with touched on but never developed traits. Just not good.

the entire story, meaning all 3 books, was definitely entertaining. not earth shattering, didn't make me search my soul, but it did keep me entertained.
