Deep respect for what it took to write this book

I’ve read hundreds of books on life, meaning, and success and no book has spoken to me as much as the words that Matthew put down on these pages. I expected the Hollywood version of a life out of touch with reality and humanity and instead was taught a lesson about casting judgement. There are so many nuggets of wisdom to be found within these pages I’ll have to read it a few times just to get them all down. A great actor, an even better writer, and a phenomenal human. Thank you Matthew.

Wow - this book, I don't even know.

I've listened to hundreds of books on Audible and this by far has been the best. I can't even come up with words to do it justice, just WOW. The author has done something few are able to here and the narrator didn't let her down.

Don't be deterred by its length...

It gets right to the point without all of the 'extras' or fillers that other books think are necessary. You will definitely walk way from this book with at least one life altering idea - listen to it again and you'll get another - don't pass this up!

Truly a talented writer...

Loved the first book and this one only raised the bar that much higher. This is going to be one of the best series for Zombie and Post-Apocalyptic fans everywhere. Character development was phenomenal, twists and turns at every corner, gut wrenching action and suspense up until the very last word in the book... Ready for the next!!

Intense and Gripping Action Scenes Packed with Suspense

I have listened to and read well over 100 books in the Post-Apocalyptic and Zombie genres and by far have to say this is one of the best. A thrilling and suspenseful mix of horrifying zombies with an excellent plot and story line that builds a relationship and depth with each character. Add to that the realistic and superbly painted scenes you can see, touch, and smell. Nicholas knows his stuff and it shows in this book - Pinchot knocked it out of the park - an excellent combination of writing and narration - don't miss this one! Highly recommended.

Not What You Might Expect...

This book was certainly not what I was expecting to find considering the title and the description of it - There was about 5% of the book dedicated to the actual building of anything or recovering from something that would be useful. The rest of the book was just primarily an accounting of the projects and other research that their foundation has done over the years on disasters and rebuilding communities - Light on the 'How To' - and more like a research paper. If you want to learn about what their foundation has done, get this - if you're looking for actual valuable useful information, look elsewhere.

Absolutely Fascinating!

This is a non-stop information ride of inspiration. After listening to this book, if you're not convinced of the inherent power and influence of your thoughts, words and actions on your lives then you must have not been paying attention. Sharon outlines from both a scientific and spiritual level the ongoing development and creation that takes place within our brains. With insight from thought leaders, researchers and spiritual leaders everything comes together in a truly fascinating and captivating way. If you're skeptical about the power within and looking for the scientific and psychological proof, then place this at the top of your list.

With a cast of fascinating characters, a dramatic series of events and lessons easily carried into your life now, Brendon has masterfully put forward a great self-help fiction book. Once you get started on the carnival rides of life the lessons grow deeper and new insights unfold for the listener. This is a must read/listen book for anyone serious about taking control or transforming their lives.
