Historia
The Earth lies in ruins in the aftermath of an extraterrestrial invasion, the land devastated by a desperate war with no winners between mankind and a race of vicious, intelligent creatures. The seas are drying up while the atmosphere corrodes and slowly cooks any life remaining on the now desolate rock. Food is scarce, trust even more so, and the only people left alive all have done horrific things to stay that way.

Historia
In this science fiction satire of westerns, after the American West was destroyed in a series of biological disasters, rebuilding it is a lot like building it in the first place, but there are crucial differences. For example, new, partly mechanical cattle with computer brains are called steerites. They speak and sing a lot more than the original steers. Most of the cowboys, outlaws, and lawmen are partly mechanical, too, except for those few humans called control-naturals. That group has to keep all their original equipment, just like the original cowboys.

This on one of a few books that I just can not identify it’s main genre. That is not a bad thing, the genre’s are perfectly mixed with all the others. I highly recommend this book. J. C. Aimone, the narrator did his part too. This is the first time I have listened to one of his narrations. I look forward to listening to more of William F. Wu’s books.

Listen to this detailed and chilling account of the influenza outbreak of 1918. A terrifying virus that stretched across the globe. Even now, a century after the great flu of 1918, which left an estimated 50 to 100 million people dead worldwide, there's still no cure. This audiobook examines influenza from all sorts of angles - history, diagnosis and treatment, economics and epidemiology‚ healthcare policy, and prevention.

I am positive this book will make perfect sense to the authors audience. This is way over my head. This book is like the main material for a college class. I was and still am interested in the whole idea this book is shining a light on. For those that have had or are in a formal medical class, this might be the only book needed. Historia
Few people truly know about Iraq’s role in World War One. The stage of a desperate struggle against the Ottomans, the story of brave men who lived and served in this harsh landscape is often overshadowed by the battles in Europe and North Africa. But now, this memoir explores the life and duty of Frank Wooten, an American, serving as a British officer in the Mesopotamian Motor Machine Gun Corps. Told with gripping detail and offering profound insights into the lesser-known and often-overlooked Middle Eastern theater, this book provides a unique perspective of the war to end all wars.

Tremendous Story
Revisado: 11-16-20
What I liked the most about this book was the coverage of a lesser series of battles. I knew there was fighting their by the local tribes with the Germans mixed up in it. The WW I German probably put their lessor command structures there - to get experience for the next war. The whole time the fighting went on, it seems the "fog of war" was 2-3 times thicker than most of the fighting in Europe had. I highly recommend this book. What have I just read?
Revisado: 10-30-20
This book mainly falls in two genre’s. I think those would be crime and thriller. The well fleshed-out characters were from many genres. Suppressing to me was the characters often made me laugh. I highly recommend and encourage all above 15-18 to read/listen to this book. I would like to read all other reviews.
