The Wealth Creator's Playbook by John Christianson is a thought provoking book that peels back the layers on our financial choices and the lasting impacts that our wealth has on our family relationships, friendships and personal fulfillment. Christianson does a great job at fleshing out how people who accumulate wealth ultimately magnify their good or bad habits/choices as a result of wealth.
He does a great job at underpinning our own emotional narratives/ways in which we think about money, i.e. how our upbringing and social class provides us with certain types of lenses through which we utilize/showcase/don't showcase our wealth and how we can address/unpack the emotional baggage associated with money to get to a healthy relationship with wealth.
Overall this is a fantastic read for couples looking to better understand how to converse about wealth, how to best utilize it for good and to better understand our own personal biases to be better stewards of the money we generate.
