Amazing, educational, and enlightening

This was an amazing Sharon and Black sacred tradition. Dr. Cleveland’s writing is so enlightening as it takes you wanna journey that really helps to explain the trials and tribulations that African-American women face in the traditional theological spaces. And I am I would recommend this book to everyone who is in search Of a black sacred tradition.

important for the whole of Christianity

if you are in any way interested in deconstructing and removing oneself from your centric theological concepts and thought this is a must read. the author painstakingly goes through the ideas of why and how Christianity was whitewashed. and provides poignant answers to the house the what's the wise we should make sure that we understand the correct historical regional and theological concepts of the bible. it is important that we realize that Africans specifically in Northern Africa were crucial to the development of theology and ultimately to the development of Christianity.

eat the meat spit out the bones

how do you eat a fish? you eat the meat and you spit out the bone. it's one of those things that I learned a long time ago is that even though you presented with everything on the plate there are some portions that cannot be swallowed. when we talk about the gospel of inclusion Pearson lays out and intriguing and very well argue case. this book comes with the caveat that this will be a very difficult theological read for most Christians. Bishop Pearson clearly is one of the greatest apologist of our time. but with that we have to understand that he understands Christianity and does a great job of using the Bible to explain this position even if his position is heredical.

This is a well written and very informative,, Is historical retelling of the life and writings ofIs the apostle Paul.I enjoyed some new knowledge that I have gained from this book.. Is not a fan of the performance but the content and context was excellent.

If you are at all interested in Christology this book is an important writing with regards to the humanity and development of the Is gospel of Jesus the Christ. The writer does an excellent job in the phodeveloping and telling the historical historical story of Jesus of Nazareth. If this book explains so much about the family, the followers, and the faith that is Christianity.

I cannot say enough about doctor James Combs writing. He is a great theologian and scholar par excellent o and has proven again why his writings are so important to the religious community. This book shows you the depths of liberation and its interconnectedness and ro the oppressed.

Inspiring and heart wrenching

Incredible story about Christian conversion is conversion and what it takes in order to in order to sometimes justify justify one's faith. The struggles of faith that the writer has our will internalized and speak to a greater truth that sometimes has missed. And the intellectual and critical thought that went into this Conversion process were truly Is eye opening.
