Struggled thru the first book. Second book I just have to stop. The fake French accent. The man trying to speak in a woman’s voice. You lost me.

I’ll try to find this again without this narrator.

The British accent of Peter was not sounding authentic. The author seemed to be trying to “shock” the reader by swearing uncontrollably and graphic sexual descriptions. It cooled down by the middle of the book.

Doesn’t lend well as an audio book

Frequent references to the “enhancement” aka the workbook. Some people listen to audio books while doing other tasks.

I found the first part of this book, nothing but a dictionary of terms and phrases.

With so many other options available, I wish I could have my money back.

I saw the author on social media. That seemed to get the messages across better.

Hard to believe this was a debut for author Sophie Haydock. Appreciated how the book was divided into sections. Really felt like I was in Vienna around the turn the the century with the descriptive scenes.

Hadn’t heard of Egon Schiele until this book. Interesting concept to have the focus on the women who posed for him.

Would recommend.
