Historia
My name is Hector Briar, and I live for revenge. It's been eighteen years since Witch Hunters murdered my parents, and still, the night haunts me. A part of me died that night when six-year-old me was forced to listen to their brutal murder. Since then, I've gone from prey to predator. I spend my nights stalking Oxford's streets for those who'd see me slaughtered for being what I am. A witch. And more than that, the son of the last Grand High.

Loved the story. Loved the narration.
Revisado: 04-29-25
This was a cool take on the trial for glory story. I’m a new fan of Ben Anderson, his story telling is dynamic and captivating! I appreciate gay stories being written by gay men, rather than a woman (why is that even a thing?), and Ben’s love story feels real! The narrator was fantastic - engaging, understood pacing and timing, and brought the characters to life.

Historia
When Phoebe, goddess of the moon, is killed by the knights of the sun god, Hyperion, all who follow her are branded heretics. With Phoebe gone, the souls of the dead are no longer ferried to the underworld, and instead linger on as shades who feast on the blood of the living. Raef is a child of the night. He lives in the shadows, on scraps, eking out a meager existence as a thief. But when an ornate box is sequestered in the Temple of Hyperion, the chance of a big score proves too great to resist. What he finds within propels him on an odyssey across the sea and back again.

Great Author. Great Narrator.
Revisado: 03-18-25
This is the second of Slayton’s books I’ve listened to and I’ve very much enjoyed them. I also like the narrator a lot and will be listening to more of his narrations.

Historia
Whisper doesn’t remember his real name. All he knows is the elite assassin guild that raised him—and controls him with the threat of blood magic. Plagued by nightmares, he doesn’t get to refuse assignments, even when his new job doesn’t make sense: infiltrate Prince Julien’s court, protect him until the signal arrives, then kill him.

Kurt was great, but John blows the narration
Revisado: 10-17-23
As always I enjoyed Kirt Graves’ narration. But after just a few minutes into the second chapter, I had to turn it off; John Solo’s narration was cringeworthy. To be fair it might have been the writing. I will be requesting a refund.

Historia
Max Remus couldn't care less about finding his mate—unlike the rest of his fate-obsessed pack. He totally prefers hanging with his bestie, eating his dad's steak sandwiches, and drawing in his trusty sketchbook. But all that is about to change at the Blue Moon Festival—a summer camp where Elite Pack wolves go to find their mates. The festival is a rite of passage for every teen werewolf, and this year's festival will be one to howl home about. The alpha's son, Jasper Apollo, is attending for the first time.

Narrator is Awful and Annoying
Revisado: 01-14-23
Don’t waste your credit. This narrator doesn’t understand narrative timing: he speaks as if there are no punctuations after the sentences in one big run on story. Also, his voice is super annoying and after giving it two tries, I had to turn it off. I’m trying to return the book. The story might be good, but couldn’t get past Michael Mola’s narration.
