I just had to stop listening. The narrator is like nails on a chalkboard. What a sissy.

Mostly a political piece
Revisado: 10-30-23
This is a political opinion article more than anything. I don't disagree with it, but it's not detailed information about the structure of the IRGC. It's more like a national review article as a book. it repeats itself constantly, its main message is that IRGC is a bad group of people, which it is. But there's really no meat on these bones. I did not learn anything about the IRGC I didn't already know.

Historia
In the Nevada desert, an experiment has gone horribly wrong. A cloud of nanoparticles (micro-robots) has escaped from the laboratory. This cloud is self-sustaining and self-reproducing. It is intelligent and learns from experience. For all practical purposes, it is alive. It has been programmed as a predator. It is evolving swiftly, becoming more deadly with each passing hour. Every attempt to destroy it has failed. And we are the prey.

Trainwreck
Revisado: 12-13-22
The narration sucks. The story sucks. The introduction is pretty good. Everything beyond the introduction is abject failure. somehow the author in the publisher got it into their heads that the type of person who'd be interested in the introduction would have any interest whatsoever in a story that is mostly something out of general hospital or days of our lives soap operas. or vice versa. by the way, the utter inability of Amazon to handle capitalization in their speech to text is why there's no more capitals in my review.
and then the talentless narrator attempting to emulate various character voices is just irritating to the point where you just want to throw your phone across the room. this thing just sucks

Drawing on the latest discoveries that have only recently come to light, Scottish archaeologist Neil Oliver goes on the trail of the real Vikings. Where did they emerge from? How did they really live? And just what drove them to embark on such extraordinary voyages of discovery over 1,000 years ago? The Vikings: A New History explores many of those questions for the first time in an epic story of one of the world's great empires of conquest.

Excellent History

Fascinating subject matter and excellent presentation, both the style of the writing, and the superb performance of the narrator. Discusses the predecessors of the Nordic Viking culture, the Viking age itself, and the assimilation of that culture into Europe.

Some people are cleverer than others. This everyday observation is the subject of an academic field that is often portrayed as confused and controversial, when in fact, the field of intelligence holds some of psychology's best-replicated findings. This Very Short Introduction audiobook describes what psychologists have discovered about how and why people differ in their thinking powers. Drawing on largescale data, Ian Deary considers how many types of intelligence there are and how intelligence changes with age.

speaking of intelligence, I'm listening to this rocket scientist trying to describe to me some stupid illustration in his book that obviously I can't see in an audible book. why is the sonatable title? also, why is there no capitalization in the speech to text with which I composed this review? on the subject of intelligence the only thing I'm noticing is that I am surrounded by idiots.

either Amazon or Google simply does not understand how speech to text software should work and as a result the capitalization in this review is all screwed up. takes quite a long time just to get to the very basic initial concept of sensitive dependence on initial conditions and at the time it finally mentions it it's blathering some meaningless twittery about it being necessary for the beauty of the weather or something. what is this pap? this is somebody who writes pseudo intellectual flowery essays because they think that kind of writing makes them look intelligent, this is not somebody discussing what's actually technically interesting about chaos. I'm done with this author never again.

Weak and Rambling
Revisado: 05-16-22
first off this review has screwed up capitalization because either Amazon or Google has absolutely no idea what they're doing with their speech to text software. this comes across as the type of English teacher you had in high school who was into thoreau and various supposedly classic English works. The prose is unnecessarily flowery. it's annoying. it's somebody non-technical trying to talk about something technical. then there's the narrator. could be better. as a whole it's just lame. like the title of my review says, weak and rambling. tells you nothing about physics but rather the authors various personal hypotheses and theories about the personal life of feynman
