I loved Trixie Belden when I was a kid and jumped on the opportunity to revisit Trixie and her friends on Audible. The story is fun. I don't really care for the reader as her voice is shrill and she really mangles the voices of the different characters but that is the opinion of an adult. I probably would have loved the reader when I was a child.

An endearing story of love, determination, survival, and hope, all taking place in the cruel midst of WWII. Reader was excellent and was able to bring Lale's and Gita's story to life.

Trixie Belden was a favorite of mine when I was a kid, so I thought I'd relive part of my childhood by listening to this book. The reader's voice bordered on being shrill, and her attempts to change voices for each character were a dismal failure...especially her contrived Southern accents.
