I have loved this series from the start

Another wonderful tale from Patricia Bringgs. where there are always twist and turns and a mostly different story every time and a contunual thred with evolving characters and growth when it is their turn. My only problem was the reader L King. It is a personal view point but she dose not sound snarky enough or sarcastic enough to be Mercedes, and her voice range for male characters is limited. Cris Dukehart in my mind would have been a much better fit and her talents enables the listener to sink into the story instead of consciously trying to ignore the reader and listen to the words. overall I recommend reading the Kindle or physical book first.

I wish all duel perspective novels were done this way. it make is easier to understand who was talking and was way less distracting for male and female roll crossovers. the story was fun but the readers took it to another level

dark twisted and gripping

Great story and dark heros. Follow Adam as he stalks Olivia into a bond of cat and mouse at first but evolves into something more as secrets are uncovered and danger is released. only complaint was even though Shane East was FABULOUS there were times whe it was hard to make out what he was saying without head phones and though Faye did female voices with excellence her male voices (especially with accents) could use a pep talk

good story with some thrill

Great story with a little less of the authors trade mark "you don't think I understand how you feel cuz I do" sort of statements and really that is the only complaint I have about this author typically. But shiver approaches such topics with a less obvious manner than a lot of Suzanne's latter books. Which makes it much more enjoyable to listen to the bruiding hero and the strong heroine fall in love and the plot twists and turns along the way.

good story meh performance

Nalini Singh is still one of my go to authors but of the audible books I only bought 2 (at the same time or I would have only gotten 1) in this series due to my personal dislike of Ms. Dawes reading style. I really wish the publisher's would re record this book (this time with dual readers for the hero and heroine parts) ones who are not so stilted in their narration.

I love the book. I have manually read it multiple times over the years (which I highly recommend) . The performer for this book has almost ruined it for me. From her choice of inflections to cadences. I get the whole "the psy are silent" but there must be a better way to convey that in the narration. So if the opportunity ever arises to redo this books narration PLEASE DO!

the thing that really made this audio book work was the awesome character portrayal of the reader this was exactly how I imagined Sarah sounded like I'm my head when reading the book for the first. strong story and good writing
