Historia
"That book. It was about two women, and they fell in love with each other." And then Lily asked the question that had taken root in her, that was even now unfurling its leaves and demanding to be shown the sun: "Have you ever heard of such a thing?" Seventeen-year-old Lily Hu can't remember exactly when the question took root, but the answer was in full bloom the moment she and Kathleen Miller walked under the flashing neon sign of a lesbian bar called the Telegraph Club. America in 1954 is not a safe place for two girls to fall in love, especially not in Chinatown.

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

No Words
Revisado: 08-17-22
There are no words that can describe this book and how it made me feel.
There are no words that I can say to make what happend to you better.
The words I'm sorry don't cover it, but for what it's worth I am.
I'm glad you're in a better place and I hope in the future to read another book written by you.
You're a talented writer and a wonderful woman. It breaks my heart knowing that the years of enjoyment I got while watching ICarly came at your expense.
Here's hoping the future will continue to bring love and happiness too you.

I was really excited for the release of this book because of the cover art and it didn't disappoint. All of the characters both big and small are likeable and relatable, which is something I have lately had a hard time with when it comes to LGBTQIA+ romances.
Tal and Athlen are both amazing and well developed main characters and the ensemble cast is also really good.
The narration was pretty good too. I look forward to reading more from this author and will be looking into there other books.
The climax is probably the best part of the book in my opinion, it was really wonderful.

The Trials of Apollo is the best series.
Revisado: 10-08-20
An amazing conclusion to an amazing series. the Trails of Apollo series is Uncle Rick's best work. I know this is controversial when comparing it too the original PJO series, but he worked really hard on the character development for this. I am very sad to see it end, but I'm also excited for the Nico and Will stand alone we will be getting in the near future.

Elisa Hansen has proved that she is not only a very talented youtuber, but also an extremely gifted writer. It is an experience that reminds you of the great writers, but still very unique. Elise's writing skills in terms of switching perspectives and giving each character a unique voice. Elisa brings new spins on worn subject matters and unique character arcs for each person.
I can't wait for the sequels.
